"Enough!" the Sun's Tongue exclaims, a sizzling sound accompanying her voice and filling the silent void. She turns on Enzo and scolds, "There's already been enough tension between Summer and the other courts before you joined up, and probably even before I arrived back in Sac'. I will not let you move this Freehold to another verge of civil war. Learn some restraint for both your lust and your wrath before the next time you speak, let alone try to get into my or another girl's pants."

Xerxia then turns back to the trail and begins hiking again, the sizzling sound becoming faint but still audible. She walks beside the Legate for a bit before asking privately, "Have you had to deal with this kind of bull, Rick?"

[Alice White]

Alice had been concerned when she first saw Enzo on the trip, but he had behaved and so she had almost forgotten about him as she talked with Nightfall.

Then while Enzo's voice rings out to all those present he blamed her for finding someone else after he abandoned her for two months. He publicly humiliated her just so he could try and get into someone other woman's panties. Alice had honestly believed that Enzo was above that and that she could trust him to be mature about this, however, she was just now realizing her trust had been sorely misplaced.

Surprised at, but grateful for Rick's intervention she was again shocked at how vehemently Enzo attacked her. Then Alice turned to Nightfall wide-eyed as she heard him speak up. She couldn't believe it, Enzo had been lying to her this whole time just so he could fuck her.

If Nightfall's words were like a blow to the stomach, Enzo's admission and blaming her for her own feelings of being betrayed was like a kick to the head. Small frozen tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Enzo, clearly hurt by what he had just done.

In shock she spoke up with a small and vulnerable voice before she realized what she was doing. "But, you told me you cared about me...loved me. How could you do this to me? You're just a lying bastard."

Suddenly realizing that everyone was still here and had heard everything, the embarrassment was too much for her and she spun around. With her back to everyone she spoke up to Nightfall, her voice choked with emotion and the excuse apparent to everyone present, "I forgot something in the bus. I'll be back."

She began to walk back the way she had came and distance herself from everyone. The sound of cracking ice could be heard as her tears broke, falling to strike the rocky path in her wake.

[Nightfall]

Nightfall was shocked at Enzo's vicious words. Eyebrows up shocked. He felt the heat of a flush surge up the back of his neck and across his cheeks, as the words were exchanged. A voice in the back of his head told him he should have just kept his mouth shut thathisKeeperknewbest when he heard the pain in Alice's voice.

But he hadn't started it.

He slowly looked around, as if time were standing still; for what, he wasn't sure. Forgiveness? Condemnation? His eyes paused on Rick's for a fraction of a second, wondering in a flash if he thought he would kill Enzo as easily as he had the Earwigs. Then they passed over to Sam, wanting to see what he thought of the attack on his new motley.

His eyes came back to rest on Enzo a split second before his blade flashed out, and he felt no satisfaction at the spray of red blood or the soft sound of the ear landing on the ground.

A time for every purpose under the heavens.

"You can keep the other one," Nightfall said softly. "That way people will know what a self-centered, egotistical, Fae asshole you are."

[Enzo]

Enzo turns to Xerxia at her outburst and simply nods his head. "As you command Sun's Tongue." He says.

When Alice slips forward, her voice breaking, and she says he was lying Enzo's entire world comes crashing down around him. He was young, impulsive, prone to following his dick instead of his head but despite that, he had truely found himself falling in love with Alice. He still loved her, he just knew she didn't reciprocate. "I never stopped loving you." He whispers unconsciously, not loud enough for anyone to hear, as she walks away back onto the bus. Despite himself, hot tears form in his eyes, both at the loss of Alice, knowing he would never again share her love, and at the rage of being misinterpretted so badly.

Everything had gone so wrong. Everything that Enzo cared for was collapsing around him with only one thing remaining. Boiling, righteous wrath. He held on to that wrath, letting it fill his thoughts but focused it inwards, keeping his calm.

As Nightfall's blade slips out and finds his ear, Enzo makes no move whatssoever. He cries out from the pain, but still he just stands there, rage and emotional turmoil boiling in his eyes. Blood and tears trickle in equal measure as Enzo stands there silent, realising that the one person he had found an attachment to since being freed from the Gentry now most likely hated him.

After a few moments, Enzo turns towards the rock city, speaking to noone, wanting only to get the day underway and lend his arrows in defence if anything went wrong.

[Rust Mane]

Rust stand more still then stone.Action had to be taken. but only after the poison took it's course.

Now a Queen returned alone and a Fool marched on trailing blood. What a mess.

"Sam, as Sun's Shadow, Please guard the Verdant Ascendant. Prince, Your Princess needs you." Rust waits only to see his suggestion acknowledged. "Mrs Rosemary. I think we need to take a short rest before we continue. Someone stop that fool of a Grunt before his shocked ass falls dow-"

Seeing no one jump fast enough, Rust takes action himsel. A solid arm find his courteir, wrenching him back if Enzo does not resist, the other hand moving to apply pressure to the wound. With Enzo facing him thus. Rust studies his face to gauge just how clear Enzo is.

Once apon a time Rust was on the battled field. Watching men walk dazed after experiencing the impossible was hard. "You have trouble making friends. We can't very well trek through the hedge with you bleeding all the way." Rust's elemental eyes just hints the humor and kindness he feels.

Enzo needs to roll Wits + Composure to see if he is taken unawares by Nightfall's surprise attack. If he rolls even a single success, both characters need to roll Initiative.

Huff, huff.

Nela withers noticeably under the sun. Not really sweating, but diminishing. Sticking close to Rosemary can only do so much, so when the train of fae arrives at the massive rock wall, Nela hugs it desperately for any shade it can provide.

Oh look! Drama! A verbal altercation amongst the others piques Nela's interest for a moment.

"What's going on?" Nela is beside Sam Barkley in an instant, swooping in for a better angle and possibly an inside perspective.

Oh, and it is getting gooooooooood. Alice was sleeping around... with ENZO? Hey buddy, don't talk about my girlfriend or I'll cut off your ears! Ha! Ohhhhhh, but you broke my heart!

God, it just keeps getting better. Until, that is, the sword guy actually whips out his sword.
