*Ciara trails behind Staley, Madison, and the ghoul; closing the door and waiting a few moments to make sure she and Mac would have privacy when she spoke. She turns to face the Deputy, with perhaps six feet of space between them. Whatever she had to say, it obviously wasn't going to be intimate. She keeps her face even as she speaks, appearing completely calm.*
Deputy MacAntaghee, I believe that everyone needs a hobby. Our Requiems are sufficiently long enough that if one does not have something to pass the long nights, they will go insane. Mine happens to be fashion. If your's is dipping the mortal's pigtails in the ink wells, so be it. But I will remind you of two things.
First, I do not care what you do in private. But if your actions impact this Elysium, or worse yet, Court; you will find I care very much. Should your pass time cause an outburst like it did tonight, you will find yourself punished in equal measure to the one that actually caused the disruption.
And Secondly, with rare exceptions such as tonight, the Kine here will belong to a Kindred of the city. If I had been the owner of that girl, I would make damn sure to take payment out of the hide of whoever caused her to become injured. You may wish to pick your targets more carefully in the future, lest you become a target yourself.
*She is silent for a few moments, letting the words sink in. When she speaks again, she does so in the same calm voice, trying to take some of the sting out of her admonishment.* This is not an official censure. There will be no repercussions tonight; and I will not mention it at next Court when I remind everyone of the rules of conduct. Think of it as a bit of friendly advice to make both of our lives easier. I trust we shan't have to have this conversation again, Deputy?
