"I'll go with you. I know what its like to value your work." Mateo says with a serious tone.
He turns to Adam and just gives him a smile. "She'll be safe."
"You ready to head out now?" He asks Nyda.

Nyda looks from Adam to Mateo, her gut wrenching with sudden apprehension about going with a man she doesn't know.....alone. Granted she only met Adam a short while ago but he just had one of those trusting auras in her opinion.
"Can he come too?" She asks, indicating Adam with a nod of her head.

Mateo looks at Adam. "If he respects my territory, then I've got no issue." He says, his tone deadly serious.
He turns to Nyda and looks at her with a "are you ready now?" look, ready to head out.
“Wouldn’t think of disrespecting your territory.” Adam couldn’t help but let a half cocked smile cross his face. “Especially if Nyda is in the balance, I can play nice.”
Adam turned to Nyda again, "So where exactly are we going?"

Nyda shrugs, as if the answer is obvious to her. She is relieved that Mateo agreed to let Adam come. She doesn't use much in the way of a security blanket in her day-to-day life, but this is also the strangest situation she has ever been in. They can cut her some slack.
"I need to go home and get a few things and then we can go to where ever Mateo had in mind."
She then turns to Mateo, nodding in response to his unspoken question and begins to walk back the way she had come. At least she knows where she is.

Mateo follows after Nyda, striding with a purpose. He keeps pace with her, but doesn't get too close, giving her her space, letting her have some breathing room.

Matthew's anger at Luke boils over as the silence drags on. 'You're no Iminir. Nor packmate of mine.' He turns away and stalks into the night, caught between anger and bitterness.
Adam turns and follow's Nyda, a small chill running down the back of his spine. He had a bad feeling about this.
