Nyda speeds down the road, all the windows down, feeling the wind blasting her face as she heads toward home. The rush of adrenaline had receeded somewhat and she was feeling more like herself again. She still could not explain the sudden head rush and dizziness that had come over her. Granted she had not been feeling quite herself since the move but she also hadn't had such drastic symptoms until now.
She pulls into the driveway and gets out. Unlocking the front door of the small house, she steps inside and heads to the bathroom. She splashes some water on her face and then roots around in the medicine cabnet for some cold medicine. It has to be the flu. She'd never felt a flu quite like it but when one had strange symptoms like this it usually turned out to be the flu, right?
Finding some Tylenol Cold, she pops two in her mouth and takes a drink of water. She considers going and lying down but Nyda was never one for laying around doing nothing. She still has a car in the garage that needs some more tinkering before she could give it back to her neighbor. The guy thought his alternater was going and once Nyda got under the hood she found a whole slew of other issues. All of them were easy enough to fix so she'd taken it upon herself to get the car in tip top shape before giving it back.
She goes into the bedroom and changes into her work clothes and heads into the garage. She lays on the caster-board and slides underneath the car, tools in hand and ready to concentrate on work.
