Matthew waits incredulously as the silence continues to stretch out. Finally he shakes his head. I've no use for someone who spaces out in the middle of a conversation. Anger adds a slight growl to his tone. "The offer is withdrawn. Come on, Sally, we're wasting our time here." Matthew stands up to leave, having not placed an order yet.
"Joseph?" Sally stood with her Alpha "Joseph I do not understand, this is not a hard decision?" She looks back to Matthew as she takes out a couple of dollars and tosses it on the table... "Good bye Joseph." Sally walked out of the diner. Her head shaking the whole way. Once outside she turns to Matthew, I am sorry, I did not mean to waste your time."

Matthew shakes his head. "Don't worry about it. Pacless wolves are hard to find these days. I know; I've been looking. I'm just glad you took the initative to reach out, even if it didn't work out the way you expected."
