As soon as the others leave the room, Shadow moves down the hall to find the new guest. Maybe she can talk her into going back home, or giving her message to the Prince and finding a new city to reside in. Didn't San Fransisco need more Dragons?
*Max leads her around the corner of the Chapter House, looking over his shoulder to see Charlynn and then Shadow go back in the house.* Better, now that I'm away from those two... *He turns back towards Karen, running a hand through his hair* Sorry about that, but you provided a convenient excuse to get out of the line of fire. For both of us...
I wouldn't recommend speaking the the Oracle tonight, she was quite annoyed you were late for the meeting. And then the arrival of what I can only assume is her mother-in-law, judging by her reaction. You may wish to wait a few night for her to calm down...
Karen nods. "Sounds like a good idea. I've never seen an Oracle shaken like that before." She looks back at the house, then at Max. "I think I remember you talking about looking into the worm things from the asylum. Have you had any luck with that?"
*Max shakes his head* No. Luckily, they haven't attacked again; as far as I know. I've looked into ways of accessing the Twilight. I've found a few leads; but they're going to take some time to work out. I... Wait, did you say "Green house"? Don't those usually require sun light? *Max asks, more than a little confused at what use a vampire has for gardening*
Karen chuckles. "Well, yes. I'll be tending to the plants in the evenings. After their treatment is complete they won't need sunlight anyway." She looks to Max. "Are you familiar with mandragora at all?"
*Max nods* I know a little about them, though I've never seen a specimen myself. Why the interest in gardening, if I might ask?

"I've always had a thing for plants when I was younger; helped my mother in the garden, that sort of thing. Got my degree in botany not too long ago." Karen smiles slightly. "I've found that the mandragora thrive best if they're in a more normal setting during the treatment period. Would go for a normal garden, but some of the plants I'm planning to experiment with work better in a more tropical climate."
