The Winter Queen enters the shop from the back silently wearing very girly pink slippers, coming through the curtain looking fraught and worried. Spotting her two courtiers, her demeanor shifts to a more pleasant one.
"Ah, velcome back. How did it go?"
Small talk wasn't on the agenda.

GoodwillNightfall gives Katrin a bow, and stares at the slippers for a few moments. He straightens, and gives the report, "We saw the Spring King in a mirror at his home, and he said we could see him at his mother's."
After a pause, he added, "He said he was hiding... and warned us to watch for people following us."
There were definitely some unasked questions in the brief summary, and he waited to see the Queen's response... if there would be any. They had found the King, after all.

Katrin rolls her eyes. They catch the dying light through the shop window and sparkle.
"Ah, Crunk, how little I taught you," she says with a nostalgic tone. Looking on her Archer, she adds, "There are certain clauses that one can learn with reflections, yes? It allows information, communication, travel and even the theft of an item's reflection. I had taught the King of Spring the basics."
Her perfectly shaped eyebrows meet.
"Did he mention what people?"

Asia shakes her head in response to the Queen's question. "No, he did not." She says simply.
She watches the soverign for a few moments before speaking again. "We will be on our way to Baba Crunk's after we leave here, but we wanted to give you the update."
She briefly considers asking Katrin if she could continue this alone, but dismisses the idea. She needs to realize there are other Lost around and she needs to learn to work with them. With a sigh of resignation, she glances at the door then back at Katrin.
"Is there a bessage you would like us to give hib while we are there? Or anything bore you could tell us about this situation, perhaps?"

Katrin looks at Asia for a moment before glancing away. How can she tell them the distressing news? It would only unfocus them.
"No, there is nothing. Go find Crunk. Persuade him out of hiding. Ve must know what is going on in the freehold." Frost sparkles through her hair like stars as the Winter Sovereign speaks along with plumes of cold breath that emits from her lips.

Asia frowns but nods and gives a bow of respect. "As you wish, Queen Katrin."
She turns to Nightfall to see if he has anything else to add. If he does not she heads for the door again, wondering how in the world she is supposed to convince the Spring King to come out into the open and possibly risk his life again.

Goodwill"If he agrees... should he come here? Or just... uh... 'resume' his, uh, 'normal' life?" Nightfall asked.
He wasn't sure if the Queen needed to consult with him, or if she just wanted him to quit hiding. Which was... odd... for Winter. Then again, the whole thing was odd. Did the Springs even have a clue?

Katrin sighs, just slightly.
"If you can persuade him here, then good. If not, then tells him he still owes me a diamond. It should change his mind, yes."

Goodwill"OK," Nightfall answers, looking down at his shoes, then following Asia. Sighs usually meant he'd asked a stupid question... but after leaving the compact at the hospital, he wasn't taking chances.
