"Coming to terms with it." Apparently she's talking about Seth for the moment. "It's been a long time since anyone I knew died, and none of their deaths were violent." She sighed softly, "But like I said, I'm coming to terms with it."
Then her steps slowed slightly, as the young Elodoth ensured that she and Starseeker were out of BrokenShackle's range of hearing. "And a bit wary yet. The Lodge of Salvation cleansed her of the Anshega's markings and welcomed her to the people, the blessings of the Elunim allowed me to confirm that much. But I did not have the chance to ask her as many questions as I'd have liked."

The two groups continue to walk to the edge of the territory, whereupon Bull Rush wishes goodbye to Broken Shackles, and returns to his pack.

Starseeker nods his head and thinks to himself that he's never had to deal with the death of someone close to him. He didn't think that loosing his family when he changed was quite the same thing, they were still out there even if he couldn't visit them in the Pure lands anymore. Telling her that he 'understood' would seem frankly disingenuous. "Well... if you want to go hunting or something, or even just running, I'm good at listening."
He saves his opinion of the Anshega for after she had left and Bull Rush had joined them. "I don't trust her, no matter the fact that no one's caught her in a lie yet. Last time I turned my back on one I got shot and then it broke my neck," he rubs his neck at the memory, but doesn't say anything else, though the look he directed at where she had stood certainly implied he wanted to let loose all his Rage at his situation on her.

"I understand, and she will never be a part of our pack. That being said, she did loose someone she cared about, and I will demand that we show civility to our guests."

Starseeker responds a flat affect to his voice. "I thought I was plenty civil to her. I didn't call her a traitor or Anshega or any other name." He didn't bring up the fact that he disagreed with letting her come in unescorted, but he was sure his Alpha was perfectly aware of his opinions in that case.

"Actually, she probably would have taken traitor much better than you think. She is a traitor to the ones who shot you. I do have a question for you to ponder. It seems to me that your previously insatiable curiosity hs been dampened. Why is that, seeker of stars mysteries?"
Bull rush puts a hand on each packmembers shoulders. "No matter how strange or deadly things get, we have to stay true to our spirits.". He looks starseeker in the eye " and don't let one woman throw off your game."
With that, bull rush heads home.

Chantay smiles at Starseeker's offer, "I'll keep that in mind." And as Bull Rush walked away she clapped a reassuring hand on Starseeker's shoulder. "Don't worry about it, I don't know anyone who acts like themselves at a funeral." She shoots him a teasing smile as she begins walking back to her apartment. "I'm sure I'll be back to wondering what in the world got into you next time I see you."

"Well, I'll see you later then. Call if you need me.". Starseeker walks with her a ways, but veers off to follow the trail of the Anshega, just to make sure she's gone and not going where she ought not to go. He shifts into Urhan as he goes, and stalks off into the night.
