Blackbird sees the man tense and Krieg glower down at him.

Her hesitance meant they had missed the opportunity to retrieve Krieg with greater subtlety. If she came to retrieve Krieg now she would be suspect and the agent, though terrified, would likely eventually think to run her plates or otherwise look into her with greater detail. Of the two, Krieg was likely more use in a threatening situation, if his size was anything to go by, and Lina was rarely brief unless a situation was dire.

Blackbird had to play the victim and oust herself from the situation.

Exiting her care, the little bird would do her best to mimic the man's trembling, using her expression to decieve and convince him of her fear.

Blackbird is well aware her public identity will stand up to casual scrutiny, but is unsure whether or not the agent and his fellows would seek to investigate her deeply.
