(Shell Game) Meeting with Mike

[Gregory]

The funny part is that Gregory has been looking to join the workforce. But he only wishes to do so to empower himself, not this enslavement that Joseph offered.

"Workers be not cogs in your machine. They be creatures deserving of respect. But yes, unless you plan to release your captives, I think there be not anything left to discuss."

Gregory reaches into his pockets to bring out his Utterbarb, the only weapon he has available to him. It seems that Nathan is unable to hit the shutoff switch. Perhaps if they could weaken Joseph first it might loosen, if the factory were indeed connected to him somehow.

[Trickster]

Joseph sighed and looked annoyed. "If you are not here to join the workforce, then I most ask you to leave and return during regular business hours." He brushed a bit of lint off of his jacket. "And as it seems that you are about to indulge in some sort of physical intimidation.... I really don't see the point in sticking around. Please leave."

There was a sudden shifting to his form, as if he was simultaneously taking a step to the side and rotating in the same motion. A sudden flair of sparks obscured his form for just a moment and when they cleared, he was gone.

Around the changelings, the machinery continued in it's ceaseless work, beating out the time to an unheard song.

[Tally Benoit]

"Any of you think we should leave and report this place to the hold proper?" Tally inquires as Joseph leaves. "I'm pretty sure, this is a major issue."

[Gregory]

Gregory seems to deflate, all his false bravado leaking out in relief. He had expected violence, some sort of retaliation. But to be ignored seems somehow insulting. Then again, he prefers to avoid direct conflict. If anything he's proud of himself for standing up to the strange factory man.

He looks back to Tally at her suggestion and nods slowly, still a little shaken. "Yes, that might be best. I can't imagine we can break down these machines all on our own. We will notify the Freehold and attend to Mike's replacement. For now at least we have the answers we came for."

If they are all in agreement, Gregory will exit with Tally and Nathan.

[Nathan Griffin]

His fingers were crackling. A few more moments and he would have cast a little charm on himself. It didn't taste right, leaving a fight unfinished, motherfucking Slenderman slipping from their hands. He might have killed us all, a weak voice whispered in some dark recess of his mind, but it was ignored.

"Yeah, guess there's nothing else we can do," he agreed. "I better get a chance to punch that smug face of his, though."

[Trickster]
