When Star takes flight he lands to a satisfying *thud* as the trunk begins to fall shut. As the man underneath quickly buckles under the weight, the trunk eventually clicks shut with the Theurgist on top of it.
Asp delays and remains at the wheel.
Assuming the above action was at the bottom of initiative, Star is up again for round 2.

Star seals the trunk with no further resistance. Unseen senses trigger and remain triggered from the perfect lock, but nothing else seems to happen.

Holy fuck, how had the situation turned into such complete shit? They'd had all of them! The Seers, the Apostates, all of them, alive and manageable, but now this! Clearly Asps spell wasn't as good as she thought it was. Clearly, anyone of them could come out of their false coma at any time, and if the next person just happened to be Bonnie then she'd get away. Maybe even with the bag. All of their work would have been for nothing. Everything they'd risked, everything that would come to be at risk? No, that just couldn't happen. It couldn't. They couldn't let any of them get away. She couldn't. She had protect their home. To protect her family. With that thought in mind, her hands sought for the bottle she'd left in the back seat earlier, but they came up with nothing. It must have rolled under one of the seats shit!
Wild animal panic surging through her veins, Avis shifted behind Bonny, wrapped her arms around her neck, and began to twist, waiting for the feeling of a torn spine.
Going for a brawl killing blow. 4 dice= 4 bashing. 6 if an all out attack counts.

It wasn't a good way to go. Spine snapping wasn't an unusual way of killing someone historically though. Everyone knew about the Wild West, and as common as shootouts were the hangings. Someone stood in place on a raised platform as a noose was tied around their neck, then the platform was removed, the neck snapped, and the criminal or whoever snapped their neck in a swift death.
Except it wasn't always swift. Sometimes when the noose wasn't tied or positioned properly it didn't result in a swift death. The noose dug into their neck, obstructing blood and air flow. It's not as excruciating after loss of consciousness, but that doesn't stop the body from thrashing about. Bonnie? She was already unconscious, so the pain wasn't something she'd take with her to the other side. That didn't stop the body from trying to fight it though. Arms twitched and moved slightly as legs moved and kicked the car door. Her mouth opened slightly as her unconscious form tried to draw air into her lungs, but the arms constricting around her neck stopped that from happening.
Apparently she wasn't going as silently into the night as Avis would have liked.

Feet slowed, skipped across pavement.
Hear that?
Yeah, silence. No car doors opening. No squealing tires. What was going on? It's a bad feeling, feeling like something's been missed. Knowing you're not one hundred percent, worn out, and the stakes are Up There.
Don't. Yell.
He wanted to yell. Frustration, fatigue, confusion.
Long fingers flowed into familiar patterns. This? He could do it in his sleep. Threads from Stygia wove into the car, fortifying it. A sardine can became a steel safe, trapping the trunk's occupant.

The car was anything but silent as Avis tried to break Bonnie's neck, but between helpless gasps of air Avis could hear a sharp *tink* from the trunk just behind the back seat. Suit was trying something, but the magic woven into the car enhanced stopped whatever Suit was doing. Whatever it was, it wasn't happening anytime soon.
Avis is up!

Of all the Truths Avis knew, and had known for years, the fact that Hollywood often Lied was certainly one of the oldest. So, she knew that it wasn't easy to break a neck. It didn't take a quick jerk of the arms, or any special technique, it just took the right angle and a lot of force. A lot. Her whole body was straining, bent against the thin muscles and tissue in the other woman's neck, and finally, finally, she felt it break. Felt flesh tear and part, felt the skull, suddenly free from it's mooring, twist unnaturally away from the direction it's body was facing. With a grunt of disgust she released the body and kicked it away, a cold rush trembling over her skin.
Another killing blow for 6B (str+brawl+AoA)
