Current location is riverbank, roughly halfway between Grant and Stanford Park. Howler territory.
The sound of traffic rushes back into the She-wolf's ears, along with the voice close behind her. The human part of her is there, a spectator to what is happening, flooded in the wolf. For a few seconds, however (or maybe it's an eternity, it's impossible to tell), she doesn't feel the ground beneath her feet. It's there, but it feels different. Grainy, parched, uneven. Where her foot feels the grond, it still has to fall an inch, or is already on the ground for a fraction of a second. The effect is disorienting, to say the least.
At the same time, the wind through her fur seemingly stops, though she can still see she is making progress. She is clearly still running, but if there is wind, it's not registering on her fur and skin. The wolf seemingly does not understand, panics. The human can do little but go along for the ride.
Away for roughly 24 hours. Please try to keep it to 2-3 posts per character until I get back. Thanks.
