"You can't have them!" Bobcat gets his answer.
CRASH! BANG! SLAM!
The ground shakes, followed by the sound of flowing dirt . . . for ten, fifteen seconds until, at last, the sound of settling rubble clacking against cracked tile.
As Richard and Bobcat come to the split, they find a dead end--someone had done a damned good job at collapsing the tunnel.
You'll have to spend a turn looking it over if you even want to consider breaking through.
As Blake and Ajax linger in the office, air saturated with dirt, something shatters inside the office wall from an unseen source in the dust. They look at the shattered pieces and see that it was the sixth walkie-talkie.
Two things are readily apparent: the Haunt is done talking, and he's on this side of the tunnel collapse.
Ajax: Ollie ollie oxen free! comes the girl's voice. Big Brother wins at every game. He's the fastest--no one can catch him at tag. And he's the sneakiest--no one can find him at hide and seek.
"Fuck!" says Bobcat when they get to the collapsed part of the tunnel. "How fucking stupid can he be?".
"Hey, we are trapped here..." he says to the radio "this fucking moron collapsed the tunnel..."
He now talks to Richard, in a very low voice "What if we go back, and take the girl... the sire must be on the other side of the tunnel, I bet we can get to the girl before he can"

Once again Richard is in complete agreement. "That's a good idea. Our focus should be securing the girl and bringing her in. If he is being this protective of her I'm sure he would turn himself in to the prince if he knew that she was already in his custody." There is a slight crack in his voice that sounds like it's coming from apprehension. Being here, in this tight space and knowing that there is an enemy lurking just out of sight is enough to make even Richard feel uneasy.
He can't stand being in one spot, the longer he remains still the more vulnerable he feels. He quickly steps towards the tunnel that had just been collapsed. Perhaps there is a way through that wouldn't involve smashing through and causing the very earth to crush them. He had to admit it would be rather fitting. A gang of corpses being burred alive. It sounded like something out of a hyped up college play.
