For as long as the ritual feels, it is over in the blink of an instant; a little over an hour. An hour spent in silence and contemplation as the initiates watch the Mana dance around their forms. Through it all, Tyria is silent and still, an eye of a supernal storm.
Once the Mana dissipates and the initial rush of the experience fades; Tyria guides the group back out of the Mithraeum and lets them settle in the main library while she retrieves the Corpus Mysteriorum. It is an impressive tome, leather bound and illuminated with beautiful art-work.
It is its first appearance for the supplicants and the Curator allows the duo to hold and open it to a random page. During this, the Curator – their Theonom – speaks to them about their realms and their ruling Arcanum from the Mysterium's point of view. It is the first time Tyria explains the Corpus Mysteriorium Theory that she ascribes to, Aletheianism, something she goes into great detail to explain.
Magic Lives. Magic knows. Magic grows and is sentient. Knowing this, we also know that Magic can die.
The Lecture is longer than the thrust of the ritual, but the truth of what the Curator has been operating under – the protocols – sings as true for the first time to the newly minted Seitians. At the conclusion, as Tyria takes back the Corpus Mysteriorium from Miach and Aurum, she does something that no one would ever believe happened – she kisses their foreheads, welcoming them truly and finally to the Mysterium.
I think we can conclude the scene here. Good Work!
