Phone repairs

There were a few tense moments as Matthew fiddled with the wires and circuitry as the Blue Screen of Death stared up at him from the phone as if to taunt him. The inconsequential conversation between the barista and Daniel began to intrude on his concentration and seemed more like an annoying buzz now. He forced himself to tune it out and remain focused on the phone, which was beginning to prove difficult. Just as he was about to look up and ask the pair to be quiet, the Blue Screen vanished and was replaced with the phone's boot sequence. The Cahalith's eyebrow quirked at the First Tongue runes. A bit silly... The map tool then popped up, giving the location of the Anshega leader, and Matthew smiled to himself in triumph. He put the various tools and extra wires away and snapped the back of the case back on before sliding the phone over to Daniel, looking quite proud of himself.

"Good as new, Daniel. Little more careful in the future, yeah?" He said with a knowing glint to his eyes.

Daniel accepts the phone number with a smile and winks: "Sure, why not? I don't do long trips anymore but short ones can be fun too!"

The repaired phone gets a brief glance before he shuts the thing back off: there's no telling whether tracking works only in one direction. Best to control their location a bit better when they decide to test:

"Thanks, man! I owe 'ya one. Well, looks like we should be going", - Daniel pays for the coffee and motions Matthew to follow him. The route they take back won't be direct. Just in case.

Daniel's thoughts turn to his tribe as he drives back up the road. He protected and guarded Matthew throughout the problem. And in fact even managed to get a girl's phone number. But it does not ease the cold chill that he feels in his spine. It feels as if Skolis is breathing down his neck. <<Allow no one to witness to or tend to your weakness.>> Those were words Daniels swore to uphold, to the strictest sense.
Daniel needs to make a Violation 7- Breaking the tribal vow (major) 3 dice. +1 die for excellent explanation, total 4.

His guilty concience hounds Daniel on the drive back, and he feels the chill of Skolis' breath never quite leave him.
