"So true," he said. "Did you have any questions for me, Madame Yui? I wouldn't wish this to be one-sided. We are all on the same side."
Right?
"So true," he said. "Did you have any questions for me, Madame Yui? I wouldn't wish this to be one-sided. We are all on the same side."
Right?
Rina nods her head. "Of course. I have a few, but I will start with the simplest. How many of you are there? I know of you and Lady Saito, but is that all the Knights in town?"
A rather important thing to know, if just so she can report it back to the Order. There was already a surprising number of Knights around, she didn't want to miss any more.
"We are the two who have Declared ourselves in this city," Sir Baldwin said, giving a small shrug. Two Thorned Wreath for a city of this size was perfectly reasonable. Perhaps, in time, they would recruit a third from the ranks of the Unconquered and a full Cell would be formed. "And you, of course."
If Rina Yui considered herself such.
Rina nodded seriously.
"And have you identified any serious threats to the First Estate, beyond the obvious?"
Sir Baldwin shook his head. "Aside from the obvious, there are no major threats to the Unconquered that I know of as of yet. As they arise, I am sure we will become aware of them - the Invictus of this city seem well connected."
Krokodil Dundee certainly did not count.
The conversation winds down, and the Kindred go their separate ways.
