Leo nods to his fellow Sentinel.
"I'm working on the Lex know how personally."The First Talon pulls his hands out of his pockets to show Animus, wiggling the thumb stumps and his missing left index finger for him."Have some time off work thanks to this bullshit."
Leo grimaced slightly, and the left side of his mouth twitched before sliding his hands back into the pockets of his hoodie. And people wonder why he's always pissy.
Duel happens before Leo looses his thumbs, due to sticky!

Animus pauses for a moment, waiting for Leo to continue. When it becomes clear no other comments are forthcoming, the shaman heaves a sigh. "Do you have any opinion on who else should be named sentinel, or am I on my own for deciding?"

Avalon materializes, expectant and still rather indignant. The defeated holds her head high and offers little to no excuse among the small amount of words she speaks. If her mission has been successful, has failed, or has only just begun remains to be seen and is kept tightly to her chest. She slides her attention to Animus, “Sentinel. I'd like to leave now.”

Leo blinks for a sec, realizing he left the important part out.
"Mostly I'd recommend Weavebreaker and Avis." Leo said as the frustration finally simmered down. "Weavebreaker has been hiding under the nose of the Banishers for two years now without getting caught, so she'll hopefully have vital information on how to deal with them and how they operate for the Heirarch's offensive. I'm saying Avis over Asp because Avis seems to bring more variety in ability to the line up where Asp as a Life based Obrimos would probably overlap with our own skill sets too much."
The First Talon shrugs ambivalently. "I think it would be better to have a Warlock among us for some versatility, but Asp as a backup if you or I fall would be a good plan." A look to Avalon as Leo finally acknowledges her request. "I think it's time for escort duty."

A long pause.
Two from the same Cabal. A bit worrying in terms of political ramifications. But then, others would likely double up as well, when all positions were taken into account. And bringing in someone from the fringes of the Consilium might lead to her being more invested in its continued functioning. And yet ...
"Agreed on Avis. Weavebreaker ... I will accept conditionally." The Shaman's expression goes deadly cold. "Are you willing to stake your honor on her being entirely free of Banisher influence? And to take personal responsibility for ... cleaning up ... should circumstances prove otherwise? Think on that, and we can reconvene later, if necessary."
His piece spoken, a nod is given to Avalon. Disgraced or not, she was a being deserving of compassion. And duty bound him to ensure her safety within the Consilium's borders. "Then we leave."
Animus will leave scene immediately following Leo's reply.

"No reconvening necessary, I'll vouch for her now." Leo said confidently to the other Sentinel."I've been thinking about this extensively already. She's been watching them for us from day one two years ago, and I think she'll be good to continue doing so. So yeah, I accept responsibility."
A shrug and a smile. If Animus wanted him to swear on his honor that meant there were still people in the city who thought he had any. Hope in the small things.
