Velma noticed the young looking female kindred approach her.
As her eyes registered her so did her beast, her grip tightened for a moment, it took some mental effort to let the thoughts of violence and savagery fade into nothing.

“Oh. Hi!” The succubus wasn’t able to hide the surprise at the awkward comment. She raised a curious eyebrow and then smiled pleasantly.

”Thank you!” What else could she say?
The Ravager paused for an embarrassing moment waiting to see if the woman was going to introduce herself or was just going to keep staring at her…

”Ah!” The sound breaks off after Joslyn reassumes her composure.
Velma smiles pleasantly, apparently she was ok with Joslyn’s demeanor.

”No need to apologize… in fact, no need to apologize at all!” The Succubus waves her hand dismissing the notion entirely.

”I’ve seen worse… believe me!” She starts taking a few footsteps towards an empty table and motions to the girl to follow her.

Velma lifts a curious eyebrow at the final question, it was more polite than the previous attempt she decided.

”Me?” There is an index finger pointed at her own chest.

”I’m Velma Star.” The Daeva forces a small pause in her speech, maybe the Succubus was searching for some hint of recognition with ehr blue eyes taking a moment to notice Joslyn.

”I’m the Priscus of Clan Daeva and Member of the Unconquered, I also happen to be the Mistress of Ceremonies at Club Ember, so you can find me there most of the time.”

“And you? What do you do around Sacramento, Miss Evans? I trust you arrived not that long ago… I don’t recall your face from the latest court we had.”
