(1404) James Bolton and Hildegarde

"Perhaps we should take a walk sometime?" The Gangrel smiled to the woman. He didn't know why something she enjoyed had to stay in the past tense, and it never hurt to try and make friends outside your normal circles. Especially if your new in town and have no safety net to play Kindred politics with.

He glanced around to notice that many of the other clans had started to gather under their banners. "I think most of the families are starting to settle in." His hand slipped into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. He shifted his knee out and used his thigh to write his number down. "I need to introduce myself to my Priscus before the night is over, but if you ever want some company on a late night walk I'll make some time." He tears the number off the paper and offers it to the woman, still smiling while the wolf growled in the back of his mind.

[Hildegarde Bingen]

Hildegarde blinked in surprise. "Eh... Yes. Of course. It has been a long time since I went for a night time stroll." She made a small smile while she fumbled for a place to secrete the number away. As she did, he pose broke into something more natural; she managed to hold off the next pose long enough to lean closer to the Gangrel. "Might I borrow your pen? You may as well take my number as you have given me yours. Yes?"

[Xander]

"Sure." He hands what's left of the paper and pen to the woman, still smiling.

[Hildegarde Bingen]

Still maintaining her natural poise, the Lord inscribed her contact details and returned the writing materials to the Savage. "I look forward to it," she added. Already, Hildegarde was starting to scan the room. Compared to some of the other tables, the Lord's table looked noticeably vacant.

[Xander]

"As do I." He took back the pen and paper and slipped them back into his pocket. "I'll see you then."

And with a bow of his head, he made his way towards Clan Gangrels table.
