When Halo sees the proverbial swarm of police that were floating about the scene, he's actually surprised that when he looks over, only one of the police cars have already disappeared and instead two SWAT trucks were in the area along with an ambulance. Apparently as much as his calls had gone through, he can now hear the results of one of them squawking from a police that seems to be just writing down the entire scenario on a pocket pad, he had a camera around his neck.

That was just about the time that a pair of EMTs started racing towards the door that the police, in Halo's absence, had removed fully.

And then the sound of sirens as a second Ambulance pulled up.

Idun lets out a sigh as they make it to the place, she's a bit unnerved by what she finds. "Well, shit." She mutters as she takes in the situation.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne steps besides Idun and takes a look around. Lovely She glances at Ermon (@Matamune) and takes a breath. Improving herself had proved so ineffective on the ride over that Ariadne pushes with this spell. Demanding that it work.

The Epopt grins as the supernal answers her demands. A network of thoughts rushes to connect the Pentacles she can see. Ariadne's aura glows with supernal light.

A thought pulse slides to the others. Halo, update?

As a new car pulls up and the mages begin to move out they notice the Ambulance that is leaving and the second one that is being loaded. As well as the Policemen generally just keeping people away from the situation. Overall people seem to be departing from the scene.

[Ermon]

Ermon spends most of their way preparing. He straightenes his clothes, murmurs something under his breath, getting into the role. Near the end of the journey, he completes the character by taking a notepad out of one of his pockets, ripping out all the sheets where his notes are and dotting a few pages with meaningless numbers and fictional appointments:

"I think we are ready, Miss Murphy. I'm Paul Lakes, by the way".

All that's needed after that are a few spells. He fumbles a bit with them and ends up with something marginally acceptable in the end.

It takes almost a whole seven minutes but the whole area looks clear and the door of the building has the yellow caution tape covering it. Whatever had happened therein was either done or was going to have people come back to check the scene of the crime later.
