Buck sighs, then shrugs. If he had any money he'd bet all of it that there was plenty wrong with the kid. He closes the drier door, but not enough for it to latch locked so the kid can open it and crawl out when he's tired of playing games.Resist 1 success
Buck then turns his back on whatever the crazy kid wants to show him and stares intently at his clothes.
"NO NO NO! You have to close it all the way or it doesn't work! It's a really cool trick, you'll like it I promise!"
Buck ignores the kid. The door being closed but not locked helps, so does the sound of Buck's drier working. Only a few more minutes and he could book it, find a different laundromat that the crazy kid who was going to trust the wrong person and get taken back to Arcadia wouldn't know he used and go about his life.
He had hoped he left the crazy back in Arcadia, but it was clear he'd never escape it.
