He just opened the door in reply motioning for roderick to get in. "Got it." He walked around and got into the passengers seat. Fiddling a bit with the ignition to make the car start before leaning back in his seat. "Lets go then."
"Hopefully, whoever this belongs to won't be needing it for the next hour." Roderick grunted as he slipped into the driver's seat, freezing for a moment when Julian reached over to get the ignition started but relaxes when the engine comes to life. He reflexively goes for a stick but finds only a gear selector. "An automatic. Always automatics, it's like everyone forgot how to drive a stick." He put it into gear and starts the car though the parking lot and onto the road, still talking like the old man he was, "I learned to drive a stick when I was 13, doesn't everyone learn to drive a stick. But no, all automatics everywhere. And it isn't like you won't know how to drive an automatic if you know how to drive a stick. I don't get people these days."

Julian can be pleased with his further efforts.
Once more the equipment supplied comes in useful...duct-tape...wire cutter...screwdrivers...within moments Julian has done the necessary red to red and red to brown and managed to hot-wire the Chrysler...and soon the dynamic duo can be making their way to Hang Town!
