Gallows looked at the others as they seemed to accept his idea. Inwardly, he sighed in relief--this would give him a chance to regroup, and figure out what to do here.

"I'd like to talk to you, Impulse, but only briefly," said Gallows. "I think your role in this was fairly simple, and you seem to have accepted that pretty easily." He looked at Kite and Animus, and nodded to himself. "All right, then. I'm heading off to do a bit of paperwork before I call it a day. I suggest we all take some time to think about this, and calm down. Remember--we're a cabal, and we're in this together. No matter how high tempers get, we are united by common purpose. Let's try to keep that in mind."

Gallows will make his way out of the room and to his own office.
