Feeling the scenes of wrongness that everyone had been talking about for the first time Ephram enters the room, determined to pinpoint its origin.
What do i see
Also not sure if anyone else has his speed, he looks over at Headstrong. "I can catch up with her if you want me to pursue."

Ephram sees a creature hanging on the ceiling over near where the vampire was seen to scamper. Its head is turned at an unnatural angle as it watches the door.
Upstairs, Ishani's flurry of blows almost fells the creature, which appears to have partially healed over the severe wound inflicted by Asa. It shifts back and forth, as if seeking a way to retreat, but seeing nothing, it lunges forward, raking with its claws. Its desperate attack cuts deep.

At the same time, the teeth of the one fighting Peter become longer and sharper as it lunges forward. It bites down on Peter, right between his neck and shoulder, but his bulletproof vest takes much of the impact away from the bite.
At the same time, the one Joseph is fighting - badly wounded by Joseph's claws, also sprouts a big mouthfull of teeth. Opening its jaws unnaturally wide, it attempts to bite him. It chomps down hard, its bite much more effective than that of its larger companion.
Peter takes 1 Lethal damage. Joseph takes 3 Lethal damage
As the thing bites down, Peter silently thanks whatever luck he has that the scaley got a mouthful of Kevlar weave, and not something softer and fleshier.
Speaking of softer and fleshier...

That's exactly what Peter's claws dig into this time.

Joseph swats away the things head but only after it left deep bite wounds on his shoulder. His right foot slides back and his clawed arms come up in front of him. While pushing some blood into his shoulder.

Asa lets out a feral growl of rage at the sight of Ishani's precious Blood and leaps at her attacker, sinking his knife deep and tearing a long slash in the creature before pulling it free.

Headstrong shakes her head, judging by the trap she'd just sprung Ephram might very well walk right into an ambush if he pursued.

Asa's mighty blow lays open the abdomen of the already-wounded creature, felling it instantly.
Upstairs, it's Ishani's turn again, while downstairs it's D'Wayne's turn, then Gideon's
D'Wayne winces at the sound of the shotgun blast and quickly moves up behind Headstrong, dropping his flashlight along the way, another sword appearing in that hand, now holding two swords. He steps through the doorway, cautiously looking around the room.
