Jackson waited patiently outside of the community center for his prey. He was not desperately hungry, but this would be an easy catch.

He had come to know the woman's name was Wendy. She owned a small, independent art studio in South Sacramento - cozy, out of the way, and a perfect place for Jackson to showcase his work. Jackson had been watching Wendy for a while, observing her habits so that he could approach her about the rental with the fewest complications possible. Unfortunately, every attempt of Jackson's to acquire studio time to work, he had been rebuffed. "Come back during business hours."

On the bright side, however, Jackson learned a great deal about Wendy's routine. She never parked on the street where the studio was located, instead preferring to park in a small lot around the corner. Though the studio was on somewhat of a fairly-busy street, her trip to her car led her down a quiet path where even on the brightest of nights, it would be difficult for anyone to see any untoward behavior. Besides, it was a quiet, suburban neighborhood. Who was looking?

Jackson followed the woman in Obfuscate as she walked, texting away without paying attention. It took nothing for Jackson to pop out of obfuscate and grab her from behind, covering her mouth so she couldn't scream. He bit deeply into her neck, and she lurched in ecstasy as the kiss took hold. Jackson closed his eyes as the fresh blood changed into mystical vitae as it entered into his system. With a simple flick of his tongue, he licked the piercing wounds to cover the bite, and returned to the safety of his cloak of shadows. The woman turned behind her and so no-one, and in a confused daze, continued onto her car. Jackson watched as she got in and drove off, pleased at a successful hunt.
