Arriving to the Clinic

The door gets creaked open, and the young man who had come in with Allison earlier pokes his head into the room.

"Is she fixed yet?"

Ariadne, Animus, Idun

You notice an odd temperature in the room, it seems to be getting warmer, and a strange bubbling sound is moving through your thoughts.

Ariadne, Idun

There also seems to be a faint glow coming from where the necklace was put on the counter.

"That's not good." Idun murmurs and glances towards Four. "I believe now, speed is of the essence so if you can proceed."

She stares at the necklace while wearing a worrying look. "Not yet." She says a little louder so that the boyfriend could hear.

[Ariadne]

"Yes...I agree." Blue eyes look from the necklace to Animus. "Animus could you look over that necklace? It's glowing...."

Ariadne blinks and looks back at the necklace, working out whether or not she can shield the minds of everyone here at once.

[Animus]

Animus shakes his head as if shooing away a fly, before realizing it wasn't helping. Something wasn't right.

A quick nod at Ariadne's question, and his eyes flick to the necklace, combing through the resonance from a careful distance. The last piece of enchanted jewelery he'd run across still gave him the occasional nightmare.

Four shakes his head at James. "No, not yet James. though you might want to stay outside for a bit longer."

"But...How is she doing? She... ALLISON!" At this point he noticed the girl slumped to the floor and the slice through her face and shoulder. He dives through the mages to his unconscious girlfriend, "But you said she would be alright....and now she..." His words trailed off as he held the woman.

Animus

The necklace has a 'longing' resonance and seems to be moving slightly, as if being pulled in three different directions.

As the necklace seems to shake, further enough that it falls to the floor, shattering like glass and sending shards of what had been containers of souls flying. Individually there is a hush over those present as they feel the passing of souls as they leave their cage.

James is silent for a moment as his eyes are widened, staring at the shattered remains of necklace then back at his unconscious and bleeding girlfriend. October and Ariadne work with disentangling the two sleepers and distract the boy as the three healers put the girl back in a state of health.

Ariadne removes James’ memory of the incident as Four collects the side along banshee. As an after thought the Epopt removes the memory of Allison and takes the banshee’s spirit from Four.
