Serreth applauded quietly. His large stone hands could make quite an unpleasant sound if he clapped too hard.
So Terri was officially queen now. While Serreth didn't know the former monarch, Terri's husband terribly well, there did seem to be an atmosphere of resentment around him, the reason for which Serreth couldn't quite put his finger on. True he had been a bit of an absentee monarch but Serreth had seen worse in his travels.
But then it wasn't for mere mortals like Serreth to concern himself with politics. He had faith in Terri as a benevolent leader and that meant he could get on with his books.
