Seeing the spiraling comedian make moves on the dance floor, the DJ gets inspired to put on a new song to challenge the smooth stylings. Tone Loc's Funky Cold Medina Remix hits the speakers next. Heath springs up to his feet, ready to keep the momentum of his gyrations. Yet as he lets out the funk he bends too low, stretching the physical limitations of his garments, and splits his pants instead.

Heath stops in his motions, twisting to look behind him at the ripped fabric. Around him many of the other dancers who had stopped to admire him for his skills now break into spontaneous laughter. They just couldn't help it. Heath flushes a little, embarrassed, but laughs it off, holding his hands up in an 'oh well' gesture.

The jester bounds over to Perry, slightly out of breath from his draining dance moves. "Don't sweat the small stuff, I always say!" Anything for a laugh.

"It's just a little rip," jokes Heath, still trying to make his head go 180° to see the extent of the rip. Heath's colorful boxers could be seen through the opening, probably the subject of even more hilarity. "I don't think anyone will notice," he jokes again, his speech slightly slurred by the affect of the drink. "But maybe we should give it some time to heal, so I suggest we sit at the bar and have another drink till it does."

Perry snorted with a nod and a laugh, leading Heath and his boxer shorts to the bar. "You know man, until recently, I would've said maybe we should take it easy on the sauce. And thatsh not all that ecshiting," he said, slurring his words a little. "Perhaps we need... we need to live in the moment, man. You're right. Let's go travel the world some more. Let's go up to Canada, shall we?"

He raised his hand and called, "Barkeep! Two Rocky Mountain Bearfuckers!"

If he was going to explode, he ought to make it worth it. They were going to die tonight. "You're about to get fucked up, son," he said with a chuckle. Lawyers drank. Did comedians?

His face flushed, Heath wobbled over with Perry back to the bar in a trail of giggles, both his own and the observers around them. "Choo choo! All aboard the shitface express!" cries the comedian as he pumps his fist expressively. Heath was in fine form. He was on top of the world.

But that was the thing about comedians, they did a lot of drinking. Some of the most famous comedians were scarred at their core by fits of depression. Woody Allen, Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, David Letterman, and Rodney Dangerfield, all of them. It was through their comedy that they could laugh off their problems, like a drug they couldn't put down. And Heath was no exception.

As the drinks were being poured familiar electric piano chords hit the speakers causing Heath's grin to widen. He belts out as he sings the lyrics sure to follow. "♪ You've got the touch! You've got the powaaaaa! ♫" The Fairest points to Perry as he holds the note. "Yeah!"

The drinks arrived as Perry laughed at Heath's singing, and Perry's emerald eyes sized up the shots appreciatively.

A Rocky Mountain Bearfucker was not to be taken lightly. Two thirds of an ounce of nasty tequila, two thirds of an ounce of Jack Daniels and two thirds 151, the thing could degrease an engine if it had to. He slid the shot to Heath ceremonially and said, "If you survive this, you will truly have the powaaaaa --" and then he tipped the drink back...

...

...and raised his hands! "Yessssssssssssssohmygodthat'sawfulwhatthefuckwasI thinking--" he said as he coughed once and looked to see if Heath survived.

He wasn't sure what it was about Canada, but they sure knew how to make a beer. Living in Washington he had a taste of that, but not a beerfucker. Heath drew back the beer.

And back...

and back...until Heath was on his back, on the floor beside the bar, his stool tipped all the way over. It was a good thing Perry was there or else he might be spending the rest of his night tossed out in the gutter.

As Heath went down, Perry raised his hands again, this time, the victorious champion. "Hahahah, Heath! C'mon buddy, get up!"

diCarto leaned down and hauled his friend to his feet, careful to aim the comedian's head in another direction. His threads were far too fresh to need to get puke dry cleaned out of them. Dragging his ass out the club before the bouncers did, he signaled a cab.
