Daniella watches Alice, a little more then worried that the helmet would be destroyed, and their hard work would be for nothing. When Alice places the leather on the table, she cannot help but lean closer to look at it. Though part of her was tempted to reach out and touch it, to call upon her Blood Gifts, to see what it would reveal to her.
If Alice cannot read it, Daniella will try and see if she can read it.
If you can read Hungarian then yes. Also Alice needs to Roll Dexterity+Craft-5 is she wants to lay out the leather out flat without breaking it into pieces... which would be bad.
When Alice starts taking the bloody helmet apart, the Mexican Lord takes a step back. He didn't want to be anywhere near that thing if it fell apart, or worse had some horrible curse. The Hispanic Ventrue even considers praying, but thinks that is would be a little late for that.
Ricardo obviously can't read the writing.

'It is a language I don't understand...' Alice hadn't expected the helmet to contain modern English information, so she's not too disappointed. 'Can either of you gain any knowledge from it?'
Carefully, she puts the leather on the table. Then she looks to Daniella, who was leaning closer. Alice wouldn't ask if she could use Auspex, first because she doesn't know how skilled the Mekhet is, and secondly because she doesn't know exactly what the power does.
I didn't necessarily want to spread it out flat, but whatever

Daniella looks to Alice, then back to the leather, debating if she should attempt to touch it. She knew she wouldnt be able to read the language, she didnt recognize it, but what information could she gain by touching it? She knew there would be risks, but she also knew her curiosity was going to get the better of her.
Looking back to Alice then to Ricardo, Mind if I touch it? she asks.
Ricardo waves his hand. "Go for it. I can't tell you anything more about it." If this was the only way to find out anything about it without calling in somene else, that was fine with him. After that they could just give it to the regent.

Alice nods in agreement with Ricardo. She wants to know more, she wants to know why Erika wants to have this so badly.

After Alice takes a picture of it, Daniella will gingerly pick up the piece of leather, taking a moment to steady her nerves. It was always nerve wracking to use this gift, not knowing what emotions or events she was going to see or experience. She closes her eyes, seeming to go into a trance like state, calling upon her blood.
