Out of the Frying Pan

Before leaving for Boston at the end of his teen years, Chase had never truly frequented the night life of Sacramento until his return. As such he couldn't recall having been to Reverence. If it were the type of establishment to frequent freakish fake vamps then he doubted he would have been a regular himself. Still it was an excellent clue and a reminder that it was best to stay informed on the local establishments. "Well done, Madam, I'll certainly accompany you as an escort in this affair." He turns to Adona, "Miss Quince, I must say, even though you are not as of yet an acknowledged member of the Sacramento Domain I commend your efforts to assist in this. I wish you luck on your acknowledgement."

Suddenly Chase looked solemn while walking to the storage exit. The ash pile that sat only a few feet away was a grim reminder that their immortal existence was still a fragile one. Sighing, he continued on and awaited the Deputy outside. "Madam Brown, normally I'd simply send these photos to your phone or email, but since they're of a sensitive nature I may just pop by your office later with a disc so you may have a chance to review them as well. Is that acceptable?"

The only matter that remained was, of course, what to do with the body.

Adona nods at the Deputy when she mentions getting acknowledged. It is a rather important step to becoming a permanent residence in the Domain and one that Adona was looking forward to. Now, as she looks down at the body of the unfortunate woman, her positive outlook on the experience is a little tarnished. She had already made a mistake in rushing forward with Issac into this storage unit and it still has the potential to bite her in the ass and leave quite a mark. However, Adona is prepared to deal with whatever fate decides to throw her way.

"Thank you Ma'am, the help is greatly appreciated" She quirks an eyebrow at Chase's wish of luck considering he'd basically thrown her under the short bus earlier but she decides not to hold it against him. He doesn't know her and vise versa. For all she knows he could be a very valuable ally later down the road. She nods and smiles to him, letting him know she appreciates his well wishes before turning her attention to the pile of ash on the ground. "Mr. Vincente told me he was waiting until the next gathering to get himself formally Acknowledged. I do not know if anyone else of import knew he was here, but I suppose it matters little now. He was a decent sort from what I could gather of the few minutes I knew him."

She brings her eyes to rest on the body then and considers what might be the best course of action to remove it. She doesn't know how the arsonist managed to cause the flash fire without any kind of accelerant or other evidence of materials used, but maybe they could finish the job the killer started. "I wish I had some choice chemicals on me. I could reduce that to less then sludge in a short time. Since I seem to be lacking my materials, what would you like to do with it, Ma'am?" She asks Alice, gesturing toward what is left of the mortal.

[Alice Brown]

'A disc would be fine, thank you Mr. Ankers.' Alice nods to the handsome Lord, glad that he thought so well about everything.

Again she nods, to Adona now. 'It is my duty, Miss Quince. I'll ask the Herald if she was familiar with this individual. She is also the one you should contact for Acknowledgement, Martha Villiers.' Alice takes a business card from her jacket that reads: "Avalon Nightclub", with two names and numbers written below, Alice Brown and Martha Villiers. 'If you wish, you could also visit our Priscus, Alder Judex Twist.'

'Leave the body to me. I'll call someone to pick him up.'

Lets assume we all exchange some numbers if no one objects

Adona accepts the card and tries not to jerk at the title Alder Judex. She doesn't know exactly what the title means in the terms of the Invictus but she knows it as an Invictus title and that alone makes her squirm just the slightest.

"Yes of course, thank you Ma'am. I will get in contact with them as soon as possible." She takes one final look around the storage unit before preparing to leave. "If you have need of any further assistence, please contact me. Although I am not a formal member of the Domain yet, I intend to be and keeping one's home safe is a priority."

She then turns her attention to Chase. "It was good to meet you, Mr. Ankers and thank you again for your quick thinking. I will bid you both a good evening now and make the necessary phone calls."

Chase bows to Miss Quince at the waist, "Likewise, my dear, and you are most welcome." Such a polite and lovely creature. It was not beyond Chase's notice that he held the company of such beauteous ladies, yet the circumstances were appropriate for social pursuits. Priorities demanded that Chase immediately depart for his Haven to change and prepare the images for Alice's use.

To the Deputy he said, "I'll send you a text when I've prepared the images, take care until then" before bowing to her in farewell and turning to exit the gated facility. At the guard station he would do one last check to make sure no one had reactivated the recording hardware before beginning the jog home.

Aaaaand..Scene

So Alice slightly bows her head to the others as they leave, she calls her ghoul Nicholas with the required stuff...

...and they'll be dead happily ever after.
