"I am a quiet man. And there is a reason for that." Conner says, "It is very similar to the reason you said. I chose carefully what I say, because I do not wish to eat my own foot. I do not enjoy the taste. I also have a short toleration for idiots." Conner paused making sure his words are clear. Adjustment always is needed."

Conner gestures to the herd to repeat the process for the other Shadow. "I have a house for new arrivals of our family. It is available for use until you find yourself a suitable haven?" Conner asked.

Eric downs the glass as quickly as the first when it is presented to him. Again, there's a small spat for self control, though he recovers much quicker than before.

"Finding a Haven shouldn't be too hard. I would only need this communal house for a few nights. The offer is appreciated. I'll leave the house as it was before I came."

OOC: I already have a dot in Haven Size. Can that represent the new Haven Eric will be finding within Mekhet territory, therefore is inaccessible for a day or so?

ST NOTE: Yep thats fine, but the town isn't seperated by clan. Check out the Vampire Subunification. Communal hunting grounds is where you can make your haven anywhere else and your squatting.

"Do you have any questions?" Conner asked after his own inner conversation.

Eric looks the man over twice before replying. "Only one." he says, tone flat and even. "Got contact info for this Ethan Russell?"

He pulls out a business card and his pen, clicking it so he is better able to write down any further information the Priscus can give him.

Conner provides the information requested.

"I have nothing further, do you?" Conner asked.

After jotting down the contact information needed, he slides the card and pen back into his inside jacket pocket.

"That's it, for me. Thanks for the bite." he says, referencing the thrall. "If nothing else comes to mind, I've got an apology and a phone call to make."

Conner holds up a hand, "Oh just a moment, Mister Drag, There is one other thing." Conner steps in again and looks into the other Kindred's eyes, "If you ever threaten another member of the Cities heirarch like that again, I will end you requiem and have your remains stored in roomba. Is that understood?"

Eric looks into the man's eyes, nonplussed by the threat. "I made no threat, though I understand yours perfectly."

He stands and collects himself. "I also have one last question, Regent-Deputy. Is there a Nosferatu looked down upon for being a grimy, filthy, uncouth bastard?"

"I do not know of one exactly like that. But ... the most influential Nosferatu in the city is an ally of mine. I can arrange a meeting if you'd like?" Conner says.

Eric pulls out a blank organizer, flipping through it and frowning.

"I don't know. I suppose I have time, but I'd have to pencil it in between Blank Spot #1 and Blank Spot #2."

He chuckles once at his own joke. "Yeah, set me up a meeting. I'm off to go apologize. Here's my card. Call if there's a mess y need cleaned up."

He tucks away the organizer and flips open a metal case, pulling out a white card with his initials and a phone number, offering it to the Regent-Deputy.
