(The Familiar Stranger) Putting Heads Together

Conner Greyson sat in what he was calling the Mekhet Halfway House. Conner sat in a chair and looked to everything on the table. He had a printed copy of the picture from his cellphone. He has the plans with the symbols on the back of them from the Jones Estate. He had a written description of the killer of both Anasztaz and Jayant. He had a piece of Paper with Neil Coben written on it.

All of these things, no idea if they are or are not related. But all the evidence is laid out before him. Conner picked up his phone and called the first of his list of people to call.

Ariana sat with her laptop at the table and notes spread out. There were so many things that had not added up. There were a few people she had in mind as well that she had discussed with Conner. She too picked up the phone and dialed.

Jennifer arrived at the address sent to her; her laptop bag over one shoulder. Over her favorite blue blouse; she had pinned a grey knit
scarf that trailed down her back.

*Max makes his way into the meeting in his usual attire; a grey colored suit, matching tie, and white shirt. He carries a briefcase with him; what few scraps of evidence he had collected inside. He waves as he sees Jennifer, nodding his head to the female Nosferatu as he catches up to her at the door.* Good evening, Ms Hazelton. Come to join us for an evening of confusion, consternation, and maddening dead ends?

As Jennifer is addressed; she nods respectfully to the Reeve.

"I do aim to join you; but wasn't briefed on the exciting details."
She replies at what she hoped was his joke with a smile.

Conner opens the door, "Exciting is a bit of a over-statement." Conner says and jestures for them to enter. "Do come in." Conner says.

“Good evening Miss Hazelton, glad to see you could make it.” Ariana smiled to Jennifer. “If I may suggest that we wait until Miss Villiers arrives before we begin. This way we do not need to repeat ourselves. I apologize for being obscure on the phone, however, precaution is always necessary.”

Ariana sat at once side of the table, her hair up in a bun with a hair stick securing it. A simple black blouse and deep purple skirt and heels were worn as she crossed her legs in the chair.

Jennifer vowed; wordlessly following the Regent Deputy within the residence.

"Glad you thought of me, Harpy Donovan." Jennifer nods respectfully to the Harpy -
Regent.
She found a seat facing the door and took a seat; setting her lap top bag on a clear
space on the table. She nods at the Regent's decision to wait; leaning over to glance at the notes.

*Max waits for Jennifer to enter, bowing his head to Greyson as he does so. Seeing the Harpy already seated, he offer her another bow of the head before taking a seat. He sets the briefcase down beside him, trying to get comfortable in his chair as they wait for the others to arrive.*

Martha wasn't far behind the others. It had taken her a little longer to arrive, but her enthusiasm was obvious!

Knocking politely at the door before entering, she hobbles in. Dresses in her usual school uniform with straw hat, black blazer, simple white sock and neat blouse...her hair in neat twin tails...she wears a simple metal peg leg tonight. A simple aluminium pole ending in a rubber tip peeks at calf length from her gymslip. A cane helps her along. A satchel at her side, she appears very eager...nods a respectful nod to the august company as she enters. Total sincerity in her gestures, she lingers at the door, as if waiting invite...and sneaks a swift glance to Ariana's and Jen's legs and shoes.

"Good evening, Regents...Reeve, Miss Hazelton, I apologise for my lateness." her humble and sincere apology is reinforced by a meek nod and posture...the school uniform only adding to the apparent timidity of the apology. Her Beast is obscured.
