(1109) Anthony and Martha

[Martha Villiers]

Martha offers a playful giggle. "Ah, Mr Maroletti...the Alder Prince has previously displayed a desire to remain anonymous until such time as he elects to reveal his identity! However, I should not wish you to fall to any harm or damage to your prestige from inadvertantly disobeying any of the Laws by failing to recognise his august personage." her free hand gestures happily to the Laws again, by way of illustration. "That gentleman there," she nods towards the Alder Prince with a respectful nod and offers a gentle, stiff legged, curtsy towards Asa, "is the Alder Prince...he is most exact about forms of address and will expect formality and decorum." she adds a reassuring smile, "I doubt such a circumstance will be a test for you to overcome, sir, being as gentlemanly as you are! You are Acknowledged, Mr Maroletti!" she beams a happy smile, gripping her cane with both hands now. Bright eyed and a jolly tone in her voice. "You may Feed in the Rack area and the Communal Feeding Zone." she pauses and nods to herself, offers a smile to Anthony, "That brings me to the matter of opening the ristorante will require that you secure permission for Tenancy Rights. I have a map..." and she pauses, hooks her cane under one arm and, from an outer pocket of her riding tunic, she brings a folded colour printout, no doubt a printout of a PDF map, which is annotated and delimited the areas of the Regent's areas of control.

Using both hands to keep the map level and shows it gently to Anthony, she begins quietly,

Balancing the map on one hand, she traces the zones of control of each of the Regents..."
"Dr Erika Brady...a most beautiful and intelligent lady...she controls this zone here...I am a great admirier of her scholarly works..." she adds with a smile and with a dainty finger, she identifies Erika's territory. "Regent Roxie Hart controls this zone..." again, a finger identifies Roxie's 'Hungry Streets'. "Regent Hart has a ferocious reputation...she is respected for her Skill at Arms; she's a deadly shot!" a timid smile at that. "This zone is now under the joint control of the Regent-Harpy and the Regent-Deputy...the remaining zones are under the direct control of the Alder Prince." a modest smile. "To secure Tenancy and other rights, sir, it would be best, in the first instance, to approach one of those Regents. Discuss with them the quid pro quo nature of the transaction at hand! If these conversations bare little fruit, please come and talk with me again about that matter." a happy smile. She's giving Anthony a lot of information, but trying to do so with a gentle friendliness.

Tiny Martha smiles and nods happily as Anthony offers his words. Leaning hard on her cane she replies cheerily, "Ah, thank you, Mr Maroletti! I do wish you well with your time in the Domain! Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything you wish to talk upon...you will find me very attentive to any matter of security you wish to raise with myself or the Reeve! I also wish to thank you again for your escort to the Laws, sir! I daresay you are eager to meet other Kindred this evening: please, sir...feel free to circulate, mingle and mix, sir!" a happy smile. She doesn't seem to have dismissed him, more offered him the chance to withdraw and circulate if he wishes to with her blessing. Her eyes are wide, she studies his handsome demeanour with another smile.

Martha seems delighted by his polite and sturdy presence. His words do no harm either. She accepts his bow with a graceful and grateful nod and cursty of her own. "Thank you, sir! A mutual Hope therefore, sir, with regards our next encounter!" she replies with apparent sincerity.

Smiling gently, she seems, with this, to allow Anthony to wander the Court, network and begin to make himself at home.

If Anthony has no further need of her for the moment, Martha will make her way back over to rejoin the Alder Prince. Taking care to nod respectfully to those she passes along the way.
