First things first, she needed to pick up Chinese food! Not knowing what Thirteen would like, she decided to get a little bit of everything, a sampler type lunch thing they had. It had a variety of meats, different rice and rolls. Like egg rolls, spring rolls, etc. There were even some noodles thrown in just in case. And to make sure Jinx had something, she requested some unseasoned cook meats, some steak and chicken plus some hard-boiled eggs. From home, she brought some fresh fruit, like grapes, berries, chopped apples (no seeds!) and watermelon. Maybe overkill, but she wanted to cover all her bases for what Thirteen and Jinx would enjoy. Plus, fresh fruit in the summer is always delicious!

Address entered into her cell and placed onto the hands-free thing in the Jeep, she drives to the address. Arriving on time, she pulls the Jeep up and hops out, looking around. [Thirteen]

Del Paso Heights was a nice enough part of the city. Ethnically diverse, comfortable. The address led Aurora to a dirt road that led off the street, heading up past an auto detailing business and a storage rental facility, up into the trees. One might wonder where Thirteen was living, but overhead was the clue.

A red-and-white radio tower loomed over the trees.

The dirt road ended at a chain link fence, topped with lines of barbed wire. The fence was old, patched in places, but the barbed wire looked much newer. The gate was closed.

After a moment, a crow could be seen coming up into the sky from somewhere inside the fence. He circled a moment, cawed once, then descended. A moment after that, the gate opened, sliding to one side on an automated opener. The Thyrsus' Jeep had been allowed entrance. Once she drove in, the chain link gate slid closed.

Further in, most of the fenced lot was dirt, with a few trees here and there. Most of the woods were outside the fencing. Central in the lot was the radio tower, and next to it, a squat cement building. It wasn't much to look at, aside from the large graffiti on the front spelled out KROW in green, black and purple spray paint.

Over the front door perched the black bird. Jinx, most likely, but he wasn't alone. Along the building's roofline, and more so on the tower, was an entire murder of crows. All eyes were on Aurora's car.

The metal front door opened, and Thirteen was standing in the doorframe.

"Welcome."

Now Aurora, in her many years in Sacramento, had seen many things. Many, many things.

But a radio tower?

This was a first. But a bad ass first!

Grinning, watching the birds, which was a lot, a lot of birds, she just nods, “Now this is impressive.” Replies the Shaman. Between the gate, the tower and the birds, it was a sight.

“Hey," opening the back of the Jeep and pulling out some bags, "I come bearing food!” holding up the large bags.
