Keeping a Promise

The obvious use of Blood Gifts has overrode any resistance from the mortal. Otto notes the mortal's nods, although tears leak out of the corners of her eyes. The night clerk provides Otto with the key and by utilizing the computer, provides Otto with the room 4. A prestigious and well appointed apartment on the third floor. Otto has a path to his desire. How does he plan for the night to proceed?

The Priest rarely reveled in his accomplishments; he might have been a sinner, but pride was not his great folly. However, in this particular instance, he simply couldn't resist feeling a sense of smug satisfaction. That is how a Lord gets their way. Once he was clear of the receptionist, Otto allowed himself to settle into his prey's apartment. Mostly, he was just examining the surroundings, looking for points of exit and entry so that he could cut off escape.


The entire time, he would keep an eye on the doorway, making sure that he had an angle to view Alaric's entry without being immediately visible once the door opened. Now the hunter shows patience.

The Penthouse was well appointed. There was a fire escape in the second bedroom, which was set up with book cases on finance and a top of the line computer. The bedroom was set up with a four posted bed and a couch. The living room faced the door with two arm chairs. There were no other points of exit nor entry. Two hours passed before Otto hears a key in the lock.

The Reeve started at the noise and made sure that he was in a blind-spot for when the door opened; if it opened inward it was a simple matter of standing behind where it would open. If it opened outward, well that would be a little more difficult, but Otto could still make use of a few furnishings to cover his figure.
