It would seem ideology was going to clash once again, but in form he endeavors to keep it civil. "I think my point stands, just because someone thinks killing is a good idea, believes it to be one, that again does not make it so." Once again the hierarch objective thinking seems to have taken disengagement with the subjective statement. "We would first need to establish what good is, and that would take some time." In fact he doubted the two of them would manage to agree on it. "I don't know what I was expecting for an answer but that seems really rather dull. But sensible." And what else would be said out here among the public.

Given his own version riverside living he can't complain on prices the slip rentals for houseboats weren't bank breaking. "I can't say I have no. The closest I know would have to be canal boats that have become tea rooms on some of the rivers back across the pond." A bit of far cry from a full restaurant. "It is a shame though, water ways are very poorly utilized in most places I know." He had never been to Venice but it was the natural example of using water ways well, because it didn't really have a choice.

It would seem he would need to explain in more detail. "Apologies I should have explained. Jinn the term we know is Arabic in origin yes, however is just one of many names assigned to fabled splits of the desert or spirits of the sands and so on, that have existed alongside civilization in those areas of the world. Ancient Egypt had names for them to they translate so I am told, most closely to what we might call demons. Other cultures pre dating Persia also had their names and their stories." Not feeling like a full lecture at the moment. "But Jinn is the name to which we and current societies are most likely to have heard." Looking for confirmation if that was enough or if he had only further mangled his point.

"There's a difference between murder and killing, I'd argue. Self-defense, and all that," she began, but then shrugged, "But that discussion's a wee bit heavy for a day like this. Best to move on to brighter topics." Perhaps the Acanthus had a more pragmatic view of the matter, but, indeed, they were like never going to fully agree on something like that.

She had to admit she was no expert on the expenses of waterfront properties, but they always seemed very pricey. Boats and barges probably had forms of upkeep she was unfamiliar with, as well. "Maybe tea rooms can afford it. A burger place seems less likely, even the biggest chain in the world. Or maybe they just wanted to show off for the Expo and never had any intention of keepin' the barge runnin' afterward. Who knows?"

Chambers was going into professor mode, and Thirteen felt some amusement at the sudden, if brief, history lecture. "I see, and how many of them were blue, do you think?"

This was indeed a topic that could have gone on back and forth, and the Moros stance of killing is hardly private knowledge. But yes others did find such matters to be heavy. "Time and place indeed." He agrees. "Seeing the plants and flowers in bloom reminds somewhat of that garden center, you purchased a cactus if memory serves?" That was his attempt at a lighter topic. "Nicer then rose gardens that day in the park, although to be fair that was likely more due to the early time of year." He had not seen them in full bloom, maybe he needed to correct that.

Fingers drum on the handle bars of his bike for lack of anything else to do while thinking on matters be they large or small. "Who knows indeed, but space is likely an issue as well. Larger slips cost more. If the docking point had to be set up specially then it would have been rather pricey without a doubt, but nothing a successful chain should have been all to bothered by." So yes rather odd. "And besides that letting the place go to rot and ruin wouldn't alleviate them of renting the space." Which added credence to the enchantress theory it had been for show.

The question so at odds with the rambling he was getting into shuts the Moros up quiet effective, but he is also failing to stifle a small grin, so jest taken as it was. "Me? Oh well I wouldn't some I would like to think, who says mythical spirits of the desert had to red, orange or sand colored." Or real desert spirits of the modern day. Did color hold significance to spirits? He did not know.

"Oh, Angus?" The Libertine grinned, "He's doin' well. Gotten big. Had to re-pot him twice." She took a moment to ponder, "Perhaps it's time to get the boy some friends." A cactus garden sounded interesting, and she had plenty of room on her new property.

"The McBarge was quite large," she nodded, "I read the upkeep was about $150,000 a year, which is a lot for a closed restaurant. Had to be a drain on profits, even for McDonald's." A shrug was given, "Sinkin' might have been a blessin' in disguise for them."

"If there's rules for genie coloration, I don't know them." The Acanthus chuckled. "Hardly my area of expertise."

Right that had been it. "I forgot you had named it." That detail it would seem had been considered sufficiently inconsequential for the hierarch to retain. "But it sounds like you are having a much better time then I did with those starter boxes I got." Evidently the Moros penchant for death had carried over to his attempt to grow something.

This was proving to be yet another on the long list of why self owned business was the better call for his own sources of income. "I just can't fathom why they wouldn't put it to use while they could though? Surely any income must have helped to alleviate it's cost, unless maybe running the thing was actually more expensive then letting it sit?" This was now getting out of his realms of expertise. "But yes a blessing in disguise or maybe even by design." Wait long enough for it to be credible then drill a hole somewhere important.

A shake of his own head. "If they exist, then neither do I." So that left the possibility of a blue one open.

"I did," the redhead nodded, then looked at Chambers curiously. "Oh, found out you have a bit of a black thumb?" That was unfortunate.

Thirteen could only sigh and shrug at the motivations of McDonald's corporate leadership, "They've never said why they let the barge fester for four decades. It's a shame, though. I've seen pictures of when it was open during the expo. It looked like a unique experience." It was all history now.

"Maybe they'll sing Disney tunes," she smirked. "Whether that's a blessing or a curse is up to the listener, I suppose."

[Chambers]

He had known of the issue or lack of skill before hand but it had not stopped him trying a few times. "Something like that." Still it was not a particular passion or area of focus so it did not feel like much of a loss.

Four decades was a rather hefty stint all things considered. "That does seem rather odd to think on it. I might be out of touch but I reckon it would have been popular." Maybe it had been caught up in legal issues, zoning, permissions or something equal bound in red tape.

The comment also gets a smirk form the Moros as he sits up and seems to be making ready to head off, having quiet sufficiently rested and recovered. "I'll pass personally, not so much of a fan of all that." As a kid Disney had been a main stay sure but the longer he went on the more learnt of the damage it was doing.

A Necromancer with a black thumb was... a bit on the nose. Might have been funnier with a Thyrsus. In either case, the redhead wasn't going to rub it in. It wasn't as if cacti were difficult to keep alive, and she hadn't really tried her hand at other garden flora.

"A missed opportunity, for certain," so ended the sad life of the McBarge. May it rest in peace at the bottom of that Canadian river.

"Well, then," the Libertine checked the time on her phone, then nodded to Chambers, "I should move along. I'll leave you to your bike ride. Ta-ta."

With a nod and a parting wave at the words of parting the Moros will settle himself once again upon his push bike and and head out back on the track, leaving thirteen to her own walk.
