The man, Michael, is quaking as Otto helps him to his feet. He is visibly frightened. He barely glances at Otto before looking at Mr. Jake.
At Otto's position, he can see Mr. Jake's skin looks stretched tight. Mr. Jake's eyes appear to have sunken in a bit. Mr. Jake had began to reach for Michael, his fingers making quick grasp and release motions. Yet as Otto helps Michael, Mr. Jake takes a step back. Mr. Jake presses his back into the wall, his brown eyes wildly staring towards the door.

"Of course we could use assistance. Go next to Mr. Aker. You can be the one to administer the next test." Kristen states to Alicia. "Offering him blood from your cut arm."

Mr. Jake's eyes lock onto Kristen at these words. Mr. Otto's eyes swing to Alicia. He looks to be calculating.

"You'd be happy to know that if he passes that," Kristen's eyes swing to Otto. "- we would be happy to drive him to Urgent Care.
Now, you had some questions last time we spoke. Some reservations. How about you tell us what you have done while we finish out this test? Faster we are done, faster we can move on..."

The torch lighter flicks on. The Beast immediately has a reaction - can you withstand the danger?

Kylar heard the steps and deciding at that it was now or never. He pulls the alarm and then heads back the way he came acting like he is evacuating the building due to the fire alarm.

The sheer audacity. If there weren't a dire, pressing need to maintain their cover, Otto would have ripped into the women in front of him. Even if they were ignorant of what it was they were suggesting, the very idea of forcing a vinculum between two Kindred was beyond abhorrent.

"I can do it." He offered flatly. "I didn't really give her fair warning that she might get blood drawn today, so it wouldn't be right." It was even a bit close to the truth. Otto planned to draw out the process so that they'd never actually get to the sharing of Vitae, but if anyone had to do it, as Priscus of Ventrue in Sacramento, it was his responsibility.

"What have I been doing? Well, looking into a possible serial killer, for one." The Priest felt a sense of satisfaction at that. It was the unvarnished truth. He just wasn't mentioning how 'looking into' was selling short the fact that he was formulating a way to 'disappear' the man in question and bury him in a church cemetery. His oblique gloating was interrupted by a flicker of flame, however.
