Stolen Blood: Into the Fire

Kylar discovers that it is difficult to disguise himself from view near the fire alarm. The only place out of sight would be inside one of the kotel rooms or he could return to the exterior staircase to hide from the front of the motel: although he would be visible to someone coming up the same staircase.
Kylar noticed that the hallway seemed quiet. His sensitive Mekhet senses did hear the sound of a game show in the room below. Then he heard the shout "Hey! Help! Kidnap!" from the direction of Otto and Alicia.

Otto and Alicia are admitted into the motel room where Otto's Clan mate is being held against his will. As they walk in, they can see Mr. Jake is standing over the prone from of a tall, muscular man. Otto believes that he and Liam saw this man at the initial meeting at the hotel suite for the Neighborhood Watch.

Mr. Jake looks pale and somewhat unhinged.
"As we told you, Mr. Aker," she says to Mr. Jake. "- the second test after being awake while being observed all day is to light a candle with this torch lighter."

Mr. Jake's eyes are wide with fear as he looks towards Otto.

Kristen looked to Otto.

"Do you remember why I wish to test this?

If he could endure this, we will have only one test by exposing him to an open cut."

Witnessing the man, or well fellow Kindred in this sad state, given she had done some bad things that might shock the ever living crap of some regular Kine´s back when she was still one of them, she had performed some experiments using humans sure but not in any manner like this. At least she never did result to torture, or well torture against someone's will. What those whom literally begged for it and thanked her for it had gotten was a different story. This was just barbaric, which luckily did mean there would be no need to feel any sympathy for any of them regardless of what would occur, given the numbers though and evidently more fire on the way was not exactly soothing thoughts.

Face kept flushed, hearing and sight enhanced to make sure she would not miss any small sounds nor any desire to be caught by a sudden wave of darkness.
"Not to interrupt, but only one you say? Then I assume you have already considered behavior modification by analyzing reaction through usage of organometallic compounds or similar mixed in with sustenance in properly placed containments?" Tossing a look back towards their fellow Kindred and back towards the Kristen. "Or microplastic effects on the endothelial cells, and surrounding areas with a focus on how they will react within this sample?" It wasn´t to deep but if they needed to buy time she would have to give something especially after being said to be the scientist here.
