Well that answered that. "Uh. Fair enough I don't recall everything I've eaten either." Or everyone he had eaten. taking his next card he passes the pile around and accepts those being passed to him. So far no grand plan, no clever stagey had formed in his mind. Maybe that was why he lost so much at these games.

This was no place to for to explain, but he had already done so once. "Ah. Hey think back to late September. I told a story do you remember it?" Caught did not always mean eaten, but yes the things he caught in his arms did usually end up that way. "Hm. Sorry why would I not like creature comforts?" He had told the truth but not the entire truth to the mortals at the table, covering talks that would be dangerous if taken literally.

"Me either! That'd be a lot to remember!" Sonnie nodded, looking blankly at her cards. There were buffet restaurants that shuddered in fear of her arrival.

"September. Yes, of course." She did not. No, wait... something was coming to mind. Maybe. Almost there. Ohhhhhhhhh... right. That story. That was an awkward one. "I don't know why. I'm just making conversation, dude. It's called filling the silence. You got a better topic?"

The giant doubted anyone really did recall everything single thing they had eaten to eb fair. It was such an automatic thing for most. "Hm. I remember the good and bad stuff. Things that left an impression." Like the wings from the earlier story. Taking his time to try and think over the cards currently in hand, some attempt to piece together a plan. But without knowing what was in the remaining selections, without knowing what was left even in the ones he had already seen. It was hard for the ogre.

The question had seemed to come out of no where, and left him wondering how to was related. Turns out it was. Just its own question. "Oh. Uh. Well then Yeah I will say I prefer having money and stuff to the times when I didn't." In particular there were some very useful things money could do. "Ha. Recently got my room furnished with things for my size, do you have an idea how much difference it makes to have a bed I can actually fit in." Desk, bathtub a wardrobe and so on in a world not made for him, a world he didn't fit in. He had made a smal part of it fit himself.

The Beast was busy trying to remember what cards did what, and probably playing them incorrectly. Not that she minded much. This game was just the latest in a long, long string of distractions from the traumas unpleasantness of life. True to her Court, Sonnie focused on the frivolous whenever she could manage it. "The good stuff, right." Not the bad. Push that aside. Leave it for later. Later will never arrive.

"I got what I need, really," she replied, thinking of buying necessities and luxuries. "Long as I got a comfy place to sleep and some cute clothes to wear, I'm don't want for much. Well, maybe aside from my Uber Eats bill. You do NOT want to see that number." The Vernal Queen looked over at the King of the Leaden Mirror, curiously. "What size bed is that called?"

Well it was a topic they shared some crossover on surely. So as the giant looks perplexedly at his cards he asks. "Huh. Then what's a good one you remember?" In present company opting to keep to the spring queens theme of the brighter side of things seemed favorable. He takes a yellow card to get some quick coins. Might need to buy something later, not a bad option to have. Although it does nothing not advance his current state of play.

When you are the giants size even having the basics could prove annoying and difficult to acquire. Money helped with that and more. "Oh. You don't go out much for food? I eat out a lot." A far from pleasant experience for whatever venue he happened upon on a given night but he always paid his bill in full and tipped well. It also added a decent amount of variety to his diet. "Uh. Well the biggest you can get is called large emperor size. But that's only Seven feet by Seven feet. So a few inches to short still." Now that discovery had been annoying. "Ah. So I got some good fellows to custom make me what I need." Now there is the benefit to having connections and the money to incentivize them.
