Kristen observed Otto quietly for a long moment.

The door stood open. The Ventrue, Mr. Jake had been staring towards the promise of freedom. Yet as Otto spoke, the warm dark eyes were redirected towards Otto. It seems that Otto has created an opportunity. Yet he would be placing himself in the same precarious situation as Mr Jake, in a position where he was being observed during the daylight hours. Although he was not under such close observation.

"I wonder what are your thoughts will be in the morning, when you have had time to come to terms with the new information." Elisa states. She walked over and locked the door. She takes a seat, moving it to block access through the hotel room door.
"This place sure is isolated. So, you might not be able to believe what we're saying. Yet you might be interested in information.
I created a digital file of our hunter record. You can look at that the day after today."
Elisa hands Otto an iPad open to a hosted photo album. There are pictures of a scrapbook that features news paper articles, photocopies from books and photographs. The first four screens that Otto flipped through if he chooses is a personal account by Kristen and her older sister. There were two color photographs. 1. Photo of a woman lifting her shirt to reveal a yellow - green bruising pattern on her ribcage. 2. A deep claw like wound into the brick with notations: creature marked the wall with it's nails during the fight.

There was a news article about a young woman hospitalized while she was investigating the death of a local man. There was a handwritten note.
Took man with an identification card from 1990. He was held in the home of Matt while Nicole was hospitalized. When Nicole was discharged, he became aggressive when confronted by Nicole for the assault. There was a confrontation where Matt was made to exit the house. When questioned later, Matt thought that it made sense to do so. Nicole and the three present subdued #1. They chained him to a chair and brought it outside. He wilted and became decomposing bones within five minutes. '

The day after tomorrow. They're testing me. It was only logical, even if Otto had managed to pass their rudimentary test for fear of fire he wasn't above suspicion. Now they were dangling information in front of him like meat on a hook. After a brief nod, he perused the information that they were willing to share with him. The photos weren't particularly convincing; they certainly could have been caused by a Kindred but that didn't rule out any number of other causes.

The news article was a different matter entirely. It was curious that the subject was said to have 'withered' rather than combusting but quickly dying after forced exposure to the Sun was hard to explain otherwise. He tapped a finger on the text. "Well... that's a lot harder to ignore. Should have led with that." He said, trying to sound humorous but realizing there wasn't any real mirth in his voice.

The Priest returned the pad and nodded. "Well, now I'll definitely have to stick it out. If this is what you'll show me up front, I have to know what you need to wait to share." With that, the Ventrue took up a position against a nearby wall that would give him a line of sight on Mr. Jake and the Hunters and leaned against it. He sighed, for once feeling the same degree of stress and frustration that the too-human reaction implied. Come on, Liam. Prove I've been wrong about Ghouls this entire time.

Otto has managed to negotiate staying and observing the suspected Kindred with the mortals. Otto has recognized the signs that these mortals are about to connect the dots on supernatural activity to the point that they may be a threat to the Masquerade. Otto can choose to remain with the mortals throughout the next day or he can move to his Haven and make his plans.
What does Otto choose to do?
