It was a struggle to keep focused on keeping his prayers straight and to keep his attention on Alicia and the mortal guards. However, Otto was intent on not blowing the opportunity that his fellow Priscus was presenting to him. And so the Ventrue kept his eyes fixed on the Daeva, even as he muttered prayers under his breath.

Mentally biting down, annoyed at the guards being split up as she turns her eyes downs towards the bush and lets the blessing of her lineage rupture forth upon the two guards.

Deeply inhaling and letting out a loud scream, pulling her arm back with a grip on it as she takes a few rapid steps away from the bush, making the best effort to move in such an angle that her ally would be all the harder to spot from it, assuming that if he could hear the scream so would he not let it interrupt his work.

"Something, something tried to grab me!" Looking back towards the innocent bush with slow backing steps away, adamant to not let her eyes wander off towards her ally´s position before circumstances would force it.
