-1 Mana Improvised Spell Mana, Willpower, -1 WPWith a naked vet/assassin wannabe tranq’d in the trunk, one tends to drive with the utmost care. Speed limits, blinkers, everything. Cause try and explain that one to a cop, yeah, she didn’t want to.
But what she wasn’t expecting?
Another car in the driveway.
“Well fuck.” She says driving by and finding a place to pull off to the side a safe distance away. Enough to not draw attention, but close enough to see the house. “The car at the vets office was the car from the park, so who’s car is that?” looking a bit confused and looking to the Arrow. No way that guy has a girlfriend, not with his complete lack of personality. "If he's not working alone, things just got complicated." very complicated.
Eyes turn to the house, looking for signs of life, or, well, anything. First a general once over, then a more, well, magical look. The guy could use magic, so stands to reason he could have used magic for security.

Casting Self Healing Willpower used on the roll vs DartIt felt weird to be driven in his own car by someone else, but honestly it was the safer choice in his mind. While there was a delay on his soon to be sleep again, there was no ticking clock to watch while they travelled, and last thing they needed was with a car crash due to sleeping at the wheel. He did however note the safe manner of which Aurora drove, no doubt because she was used to driving what he considered expensive vehicles.
He looks over as Aurora pulls up to the assumed address, giving a look over at the parked Silver people carrier parked on the drive. Listening to Aurora's words he wanted to still give that hint of hope that all was not what we believed. “Well, lets hope that he got a rental for the deed he intended to perform on you. I mean it makes sense right? Someone notes down that car and then he drops it off once you are dealt with.” He turned to Aurora as she to him. “You are right, I suppose we will have to keep magic to a minimum for now until we get a better look.”
He spies the front of the house looking for any sign of life or any hint of more then one occupant at home. A window left open? Sound coming from the house? Smoke from a chimney.

An upstairs window at the front of the house opens the a hand briefly scene pushing it a jar but curtains prevent a clear view of whoever that hand belongs to.
Aurora with her life sight active has annoying issue of the dead, ponderous and thick resonance of the material of the house making it hard to detect the vital resonance of life that would be within.

“That would be a smart way to go about it. There are smarter ways in my opinion, but I doubt he’s a Master of any Arcana, so, work with what he has I suppose.” She could change her appearance if she needed.
“Looks like there might be someone in there.” Not sounding happy about that. Meaning breaking in was going to be difficult, “And I cannot get a clear view with my sight, stupid fucking vegetation is too thick. I’d have to get closer to get a clearer count on how many are in the house.” Now just sounding annoyed.
Well played. “Smart to have so much around the house.”
Glancing to the Arrow, “Did the wallet have any indication of a family or anything? Cause he did not strike me as a family man.” Not at all. Beast case? Roommate or sister, maybe brother and she makes the sleep. Not supposed to really use magic on Sleepers, but they needed to search that house. And this would just be a nice nap.

Casting Self Healing Willpower used on the roll vs DartNot feeling the need to discuss other ways to go about the vets plan as it was not important now. “Well, you are a difficult target. Anyway, with regards to whether he is a master of any arcana; From what I recall of the snake, it was within the realm of possibility as his enlightened will was at a medium level, unless you have seen anything on the contrary.”
Watching the house, but alas the hope of no one home was shattered by arm opening the window from inside. “Well it certainly puts a spanner in the works. On the other hand, it might mean that it is less likely to be booby trapped. If he were alone that would be my main concern.” An idea drops into his mind. If the guy was this careless about how easy it was to track his home from him, then what about being able to track another from just a registered car. “How good are you at cyber stalking? We could use the car to track and find out who it is registered to then dig deeper into them.” Almost like a chain reaction more ideas flood in. “Keys... Keys, did you grab any keys? He might have a spare for the car.”
He opens up the wallet to begin digging through like Aurora suggested, looking for any signs of a loved one or someone close that may be hidden inside.

Stamford. He might not be Auroras type but it would seem the Dr does have family of some kind.
The quiet suburban street remains just that no gun shots no shouts of screaming no sense of magic just people living quiet lives behind painted walls.
Being as schooled in the Lex as she is Aurora would know that the precept of Hubris had already been strained with the unwilling polymorph, alright it was in self defence and done to preserve secrecy but someone skilled in the Lex could still make her life hard over it. Casting in front of and on a sleeper would constitute a breach of secrecy if it got reported back.

“To tell you the truth, I’d take a booby-trapped house over one with a Sleeper or another Awakened in it. Another that can cast magic makes things very complicated." Her head turns to face him, an eyebrow arched, “Cyber stalking? I have little to no experience with it. I can find directions and basic info if I need it, but nothing beyond that. I’ve never had to cyber stalk someone.” The thought seemed…weird. “Checking out the car seems like a legit place to start. As for keys? Anything he had on him would be in the box. If he does, we can’t just walk up and take the car, whoever is in the house is going to report that. Unless you are thinking it as a way to get them out of the house. Which gets the cops involved.” And gets attention to the body in the trunk.
“I was thinking of seeing if there were any Spirits that wanted to talk and could maybe give me some info.” Some Spirits were willing to talk, some no so much. Never hurt to try.

He could not argue with her, it was the easier option in some way, but both options had their cons. “True, someone else into the mix makes it harder.” He notices that Aurora turns to him and he does the same to her. “Fair enough, not something that most do, but just wanted to check if you were tech savvy enough to do it other wise I would do it, you know.” He nodded to her and he comments about the car. “Well, I think for the moment I will leave the boot undisturbed until needed. Assuming that we did have the keys in there, I was thinking more of disposal rather then steal the car. As in leave the vet dead in the backseat of the car. But I am getting ahead of myself, I will focus first on looking up the Car details if we have no other option as it is a slowish process of searching up stuff, and we are against the clock.”
Money? Nice but I know where that is going. Cards.... cards.... ooooo Joint bank account? Bingo. He first of all holds out his hand, cash fills his open palm as well as a credit card that sits onto of the cash pile. “We have a partial name to some degree. An A. Stamford. Also some cash to reimburse you for your troubles at the vet. Seems he has some form of family.”
“Spirits would be a good shout to see what they know or even if they could find some info about the place, assuming they behave. I will be sure to keep an eye out on the house, if the person inside looks out once you cast the spell then we can assume that they are a mage as well.” Oh god please don't look out. “If you need me to help you though with the spirits just say.”
