    Mask
    A giant of a man (7ft 6'), broad as a barn (300lb) his muscles are not things curated for gym selfies but thick from use and abuse. The jug jaw can be said to be his most flattering feature, after the badly broken nose, limp locks of hair and sharp shattered teeth. He wears a long poorly made overcoat, suspenders keep trousers up over a ill fitting white work shirt. A battered fedora is his only accessory.

    Mask: a battered brown moth eaten fedora, the hat band looks like a band of sackcloth has been wound around it.

    Mein: made of stitched red and brown leaves, 2 holes for his horn nubbins -- the scarecrows I pictured to be in place of the hat band, just a jumbled array of tiny standing and suspended sackcloth and straw people ringing the main body of the hat.

    The source less sorcerous candle flames spark into existence with grater frequency and in greater number casting the Ogre in the light and shadows of their illusory flames that flicker with increased tenacity and with greater range of motion.

    Standing an inch or so taller and broader than its already giant mask the blubbery ashen skin, splotched with chitinous scabs and bulbous fleshy worts look almost diseased. Wild and matted lichens and moss form a tangled mane of hair and beard. Thick trunk like, twisted, arms of exaggerated length, end in vast hands with dark chipped nails. The pillar like legs bow slightly. A barrel chest and obese gut only add to the immensity of the creature. A broad jaw houses a chaotic array of sharp and curving teeth resembling shards of stone that prevent complete mouth closure ensuring they are always on display. The flat squashed nose leads to the sickly yellow sclera of the vast bulbous eyes and pupils more akin to fragments of flint, in turn overshadowed by nubbin horns protruding from a wide forehead

    The last patrol to the hedge had been exhausting, draining nearly everything the Ogre had to resolve the variety of things that had popped up, this time he had a few more tricks and resources to call on but that some preparation didn't go a miss.

    Not currently having a car meant taking the bus as close to Funderland as he could, also limiting what weapons he could bring without arising suspicion. What he could do was either in his pockets on crammed into a duffel at his feat as the Ogre sat in the central seat at the very back of the bus, his dominion made clear by the looming giant into the aisle between the rest of the seats before him.

    It wasn't quick or clever or elaborate as he would have liked. It wasn't a pledge or a manipulation it wasn't a string he could pull on latter. Not a show of force or dire threat. No this was quick and dirty harvesting for glamour that if recent ventures into the hedge be any indication would be spent just as quickly.

    When the bus stopped to admit some new passenger he made his move place one great hand on the rail of the seat in front, large knuckles cracking as he exerted his deadly grip and shifting his weight forward just enough to make it clear he was staring down, oozing ill intention and desire to cause harm.

    Quick and dirty did it justice the mote of glamour enough to top him up, it would pay the cost of opening the gate at least. But the glutton was far from satisfied with that magical meal. He will have to hope the distorted memories of him due more to lay the ground work for future fear inducing activities.

    Despite the dark presence at the back of the bus no harm comes to driver or passengers and when its close to Funderland he departs into the streets to walk the rest of the way, duffel over one shoulder clinking metallically.
