Abyssalstar and I were going back and forth about the details of an agreement between Sonnie and Sven for him to serve as waitstaff/catering for an upcoming Spring event in exchange for a one-dot piece of Hedgespun Raiment.

Pledge: Vow
Task: Endeavor, Lesser (-1, Sven will serve as waitstaff at an upcoming Spring Court event); Endeavor, Lesser (-1, Sonnie will create a Hedgespun coat for Sven)
Boon: Favor, Lesser (+1, Sven will be rewarded with a piece of Hedgespun Raiment as payment); Adroitness (+1, Sonnie will receive a bonus to Craft)
Sanction: Curse, Medial (-2, both)
Duration: Medial, Moon (+2, both)

Sven's proposed wording:
"I agree to serve the Vernal Court and its guests as a humble attendant, handling menial labor and serving as a waiting hand so that the Court of Desire may enjoy its banquet undisturbed for the turning of a moon. In return, the Vernal Queen will reward me with a fine coat spun from the Hedge itself by the end of the moon's turn. Should either of us violate this Vow, may our luck turn sour."

Sonnie's proposed wording:
"I, Sonja Wu, Queen of the Spring Court of Sacramento, agree to spin from the Hedge a fine coat for Svelte Sven of the Winter Court, and award it to him within the next moon. In exchange, he shall aid the Spring Court at it's next freehold event, within the next moon, as a host and servant. Should either of us break this Vow, may our luck rot like fruit on the vine."

This seems alright, but I'd rather this have come up in a scene, where it would lead up to an agreement to Pledge, if you guys can get out a quick scene about it, then when you Pledge IC that's when you guys can put it onto the Pledge Calendar, and have the Pledge count as Active with Sonnie on the clock for the Hedgespun, and the Spring event for Sven to act as waitstaff at.

Ahh, I guess I missed that when I was catching up on things, in that case when the words are IC uttered and WP spent to bind then you can consider the Pledge Active and put it into the Pledge Calendar

Here is the proposed Oath for this scene.

Oath of Feud’s Ending

Pledge: Oath, on the name of Keepers

Loser: Forbiddance (-2, speaking ill of the victor), Blessing (+2 to Resources)

Victor: Endeavor (-2, protect the loser from harm so long as it does not risk his own life), Blessing (+2 Resources)

“Let us swear in the name of our Keepers and acknowledge the rightful impact of this contest in the eyes of the Wyrd. In exchange for this humility, the victor must take their victory with grace, pledging to protect the defeated from harm, so long as such protection does not risk his own life. I'm going to have to say no to this version of the Pledge.

You should probably reread the Pledge HRs involving Blessings. As well as looking up the specific Pledge needed for Duels. Pg 30-46 Swords at Dawn.
