First contact with San Fran freehold

"Yeah, my fingers make everyone feel good," she giggled, "Men, women, non-binaries. Equal opportunity fingers, mine." Sonnie proudly wiggled said digits. "Oh! Dessert, you say? I wouldn't be so rude as to turn down such a delicious offer." Had she ever?

"Ready!" The Beast nodded. Then she blinked. "Wait, ready for what?" Beast Brain backtracked past her stupid humor to review the past few moments. "Oh, trap shopping! Right! So long as we keep the rat poison away from the dessert, sure."

"Glad to hear Kray," she'd wasted car for the Hedge, but that'd been intentional and not her only vehicle.


Circe secures her phone, fishes out her keys, tosses them in the air to then catch them. "Ready to roll, no speeding tickets," whatever else she was going to say is stopped by Director Sonja's forgetting what they'd just been talking about. Circe stares at her in surprise before she gets her. "Ha," she points at Sonja, "You got me with that one. And of course not. Dessert is after that is all done. I know how to divide between workshop and kitchen."

That was just common sense. You did NOT mix up pepper and gunpowder. Not even for pranks, the latter is too expensive.

ooc: Ready. I have already submitted Resources expenditure for the trap components for the month.

Okay now it seemed everything was ready, another false start not withstanding so the ogre once again makes his way to duck out of the door. The observant might note that as he does so those horn nubbins align perfectly with two dents in the lintel. "Ah. Right meet you both there then." It might have escaped him that all they said was hardware store and pharmacy, not which one. Also he has no idea which buses stop near hardware stores, but a timetable shouldn't be to hard to find.

Thank you for running the scene Origins! and thank yo both for hoping in to put the plan together. It was alot of fun Also when I can/ have the xp for it (might be a month or two delayed) I'll buy more dots in the tunnels to account for all of this.

"Right!" The Monkey Girl waved and headed for the exit, eager to leave the bad smell of Edna's Kitchen behind. "See ya later!"

Did she know where they were going? Nope. Not specifically. Which is why she probably wouldn't show up at whatever stores Circe would pick out. Not her fault!

Not exactly a joke, she had a muscle car. Or they stopped by a pharmacy or convenience store on the way for the laxatives. Only to get stuck behind an elder insisting upon payment with pennies. Wow, she may be hanging out with Sonja too much to come up with such a scenario on the fly.

ooc: Thank you for the scene! Ready to go! I can start the next PRP if everyone is ready or try to recruit more first. I figure the Lost can get the hardware store supplies of 3 snare kits, parts for making a dozen snares, and 3 each of high lumen spot lights, high lumen LED lanterns, and LED headband lights. Laxatives can be gotten too at a convenience store on the way, with say Sonja spotting a plastic marinating injector that they can use to get it into the sausages. Please let me know: recruit now or after setting up the cameras/traps.

Since we need to get a tracker on board, just in case, would it make sense to set traps, recruit first then do the next prp. I am to do whatever is easiest all round.

ooc: Comms thread is out, with shoutouts to Jasper, Vincent, and their players. Question? Do we want to play out the crafts rolls for the snares? Do some rolls beforehand to gauge how long it takes per trap? RAW in Armory, they are Dexterity + Crafts + Equipment to setup a trap. So, lots of rolls that could go slow/fast IC, at least 5 for each camera, but with supplies for 15.

Yeah I'm happy to play out the rolls! Always fun to see how well plans play out compared to the skill needed to enact them.
