Cruise the Sacramento River

Jennifer was getting out into the nightlife and spending some time looking into tourist attractions and places of culture in Sacramento. At the most recent wine tasting, someone mentioned that cruising the Sacramento River was divine. Jennifer decided to speak with a tour guide after having Liam take the daylight tour and drop the time honored way to get some people to do things that they would not ordinarily do: money.

Jennifer and the guide had spoken and the allure of the trip had been clear. The highlights from the tour guide are that the boat shall set sail past some of Old Sacramento’s most notable, historic landmarks such as the Delta King, the I Street Bridge, the Tower Bridge, and the Air Force Docks. This was alluring.
Jennifer looks about the dock and spots the guide with a rough looking man dressed for the weather on the water. Jennifer gave the tour guide a smile and extended a handshake to the captain. The hand held an envelope of cash. A quick exchange of pleasantries and he went down to tend to the boat and crew. The guide boarded the boat. Jennifer walked down the gangway slowly, looking out over the water. The lights on the water were alluring.

Jennifer is blushed, the stolen blood flushing her skin with pink cheeks.

Tired, tired, tired, damn it she was tired. These past few months had been far to much, the chasing of her cousin, preparations for the new month, the realization that she would be forced into the exact same situation of hollowness she had been warned about, and constant studying was really starting to take a mental toll. At least most of it was done, she could begin to breathe again, or well metaphorically speaking at least.

Having decided to just take the night off, to go for a walk, to see where the city would take her. Without dressing up, just having taken the first outfit she could find along with a pair of thin black leather gloves after having sorted her hair and eyes for the evening, lips as near always purple along with purple eyes, such a hassle they could be but such fond meanings.

Walking by the River, just inhaling the scent, the sensation of the presence of the water, and looking to the boat, maybe she could get a chance to deepen her knowledge of the city she now called home, truth be told she had barely taken in more than sights from random walks and places designated for food. Walking closer to the boat as false life flushes through her body with a sudden sight, and unavoidable smile upon her lips at seeing the Seneschal.
"Good evening Lady, is this boat passing by some intriguing to see destinations tonight?" Letting a moment hang between them, not wanting to interrupt some potential dealings she knew nothing about or state a name that was wished to remain hidden. Besides a moment to chain the screams of her beast for the familiar stronger one was not a bad thing. "If it is and is not sold out so would it be a memorable experience to indulge in."

Jennifer was dressed in a character tonight. Warm colors to bring up her pale skin and dark brown, almost black hair. The outfit was much more casual than Jennifer normally dressed, yet she was Kine watching. One bit that was not visible is a flesh colored scarf glued to Jennifer's neck underneath the green and orange scarf.

Jennifer heard the voice and looked over. She had been prepared to entice a meal onboard. Yet seeing the bewitching Daeva, Jennifer forced ehr expression to warm to one of welcome.
"Hello, I have booked the boat for a River Tour at night. I have heard that it is quite an experience. Do come aboard."
Jennifer invites, her Cursed voice slithering like a serpent.

Starting to climb aboard the boat but making certain to stop a bit away from the woman with a slow glance over her outfit.
"Your attire truly suits you, I love how it plays into a season yet still compliments your complexion and hair alike."

Taking a few steps onto the boat, a bit surprised at having been offered to come aboard to begin with as she walks over to the railing and inhales the breath of the river.
"I do not see many passengers here tonight, is it rent out for something special or are we both simply just the first ones to arrive for the cruise? Miss, do excuse me I do not think I caught your name?" An obvious lie of course but she was not sure how the Seneschal preferred to be addressed when walking amongst the Kine.

Jennifer makes a small nod towards the Daeva at her comment. It was not something that she had spent a lot of time on creating. She acknowledges Ms. Silver's comment.

"It is quite possible that we will be the only ones on the cruise this evening. I did not make this known to anyone." Jennifer states. "Tonight, you may call me Jenna."
She replies in the Cursed voice that slithers like a serpent through crumbling leaves. Jennifer waits expentantly for the name that Ms. Silvers wishes to be known by. The Seneschal and the Daeva have not had much cause to socialize.

Placing her left hand turned sideways against her chest with a slight tilting of her head.
"A cruise around the city I am still to truly explore nigh alone with a rarity of your caliber, how truly fortuitous I am."

Turning her hand to let the palm rest against her chest with a friendly smile towards the Lady before her, adamantly refusing to let any reaction to the cursed voice show upon her face.
"A pleasure Jenna, please call me Galathea." Turning her head upwards towards the starry night sky, seemingly admiring the stars above. "What sights may I count on seeing tonight? This city is still rather new to me and holds a lot of sights to behold, and history to learn."

"You have not explored the city to your satisfaction?" She inquires.
"Perhaps you and I should go out one evening. I have been looking for different drinking establishments around town. I have been tasting different drinks."
A moment of silence as she considers the information. What did that mean?

Jennifer walks along the wooden pier onto the boat, waiting for Ms. Silvers. Liam looks over from where he sits with a paperback.
"Enough time has passed. If anyone wanted to come, they would have." Jennifer speaks to Liam. He stands and moves off.
"I have heard that we will see the Delta King and the 1 Street Bridge."
"I heard that you follow the musical group, Blood of the Rose. Could there be truth to the rumor that they have moved on from the city?" Jennifer inquired of Ms. Silvers.

A shake of the head.
"Sadly I have not, and do not expect to do so for years to come." There was so much to see, learn and experience.Letting a soft smile dawn upon her lips at the question. "That sounds like one evening I would not wish to miss, do you have any particular place or type of establishment in mind?"
Letting the silence sit between them as she once more breaths in the air of the water, and letting the breeze dance upon her cheeks.

Following suit after the Seneschal, with a light look to Liam more so in courtesy than anything else.
"That sounds like fascinating sights, could you tell me a bit about their history?" Almost looking a bit surprised, loving the code words and biting her lower lip. Play along or mehh no one here would get it anyways so should be safe. "It does seem like they decided to go on a tour, so not sure I will ever get to see them perform live again."

Placing her arms against the railing as she turns to look out over the water, into the light of the city, giving the Seneschal the time she needed to formulate her thoughts and for the boat ride to commence.
