(Saturnalia) Scouting the Land

[Marcus Roman]

Marcus rumbled through the city on his bike eventually making a path into Valencia. Continuing on with the directions given by Priscus Baker eventually the Roman with a slight look of surprise as he views and old church. Parking his bike, he approaches the doors and knocks. The Gangrel is wearing a black Beastie Boys shirt with the sleeves ripped off revealing his XIII tattoo on his bicep, black jeans and combat boots with a metal studded belt as he waits for the Shadow to come to the door.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait, works been wild with over time this month. Gonna try and knock this out real fast as Saturnalia is approaching!

The Crone Farm can be accessed from a long dirt driveway that has a few ruts from wear and tear. The driveway is tree lined on the right with little views of fields peaking through. The left side is lined by a dense forest. The end of the driveway opens up to a small one story farm house with a friendly porch. The farm house has solar panels on the roof. There is a port-a-potty outside for the farm workers and guests. An outdoors sink is set up near by. Care has been taken for the farm to be as green and ecologically based as possible.
On the arrival of the bike, Al closed the book he had been reading and left the gazebo dressed as usual in a grey suit with a striped tie, black dress shoes and to complete the ensemble his briefcase, a grey Ulster coat and a grey Homburg. Feeling another nearing he had to resort to silent prayer to calm himself in order to not run away. Then he approached his guest.

"Good evening, Mr. Roman."

Necessary clarification

The building is the Farm, which is publicly known. The old church would be the Temple, which isn't and where no one not of the Circle would be invited to.

Ah sorry about that, when I checked the wiki for the crone farm the only thing I found was the temple so I thought they were the same thing >.< Also Ima be slightly vague about Marcus' beast because I can't seem to locate your blood potency and don't see Obfuscate up to hide it. Also also, adding book keeping as Marcus is blushed.

Marcus began the mental process of ignoring his beast as Albert Baker came near. The Roman was unsure if they were free to speak openly and erred on the side of caution avoiding titles. "Thank you again Dr. Baker, this is a wonderful site. I didn't think it would be an actual active farm, I was thinking it was just a title for the place. What all does it grow?" He said curiously as he looked around from his current vantage point.

Al nodded.

"Indeed it is. This is in fact our public location for guests, so to speak."

He thought a while about the question while passing the fields and reaching the main building.

"The fields are a project of my predecessor with the local university. I can't recall what is grown at the moment, I'm afraid."

Reaching the front door he took a key of out his pocket and opened the door, leading Marcus into the first room.

"The furniture can be moved, if necessary."

Marcus nodded and followed along, looking everything over with practiced eyes.

"Fantastic, I think maybe just clearing space for any food or artwork we add I don't believe the furniture here will need to be cleared. I'm hoping to get a few pavilion style tents for outside as well. I should have that in my budget. Not to rush but I really must be going soon, perhaps we can just do a quick walkthrough of the rest of the house? I don't mean to seem rude, it's just that time is ever against me."

Al nodded understandingly.

"Of course. There is still a lot to be done, after all."

Leading Marcus into the much more plain living room where a couple of box-beds stood, he motioned to have a look around.

"This is mostly the interior of the farm. There are some small storage rooms, but apart from them you saw everything."

He thought for a while before speaking again.

"Should we be able to be of more service to the festivity just call."

"Amazing, I think perhaps we store the beds but otherwise this is a fantastic spot. I think we set the altar up on the porch perhaps, somewhere people can pass going in and out..." The Roman seemed to be making mental notes here and there as he looked around as he did a quick pass through before circling back to the exit of the house. "We can use the storage rooms for feeding, should anyone bring their herd...Unless that's a no go here?" He said wanting to be respectful of any of the Crones practices regarding bringing kine to eat at the farm.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

The Crone Farm has a delivery accompanied by Liam. Two carefully protected statues, one a large statement piece and one a smaller statue standing seven feet tall, are brought in by workmen. Two busts of the Roman God requested by Marcus Roman are brought in next. Liam accompanies the workmen. He is overseeing their work with careful attention to detail.

Jennifer walks along behind the statues, dressed in an outfit appropriate for the farm. Blue jeans, practical worn – in boots, a cashmere sweater in grey and a bulky dark grey cowl carefully obscuring her gruesome scar.
“Good evening.” Jennifer greets with a pleasant and friendly demeanor. Her voice was affected by her Nosferatu Curse, which made the shadows of the night seem to crawl into her Voice, sounding like slithering serpents. Jennifer’s Beast is not obscured. As she was unsure of how freely one could speak in this area, she looks to Priscus Baker with an expectant expression that he would answer the question. Jennifer is Blushed, flushing false Life though her skin to give the illusion of life.

OOC: You need to tell us Albert Baker's Blood Potency. I do not see it recorded on Albert's public mini sheet and it needs to be for Marcus and Jennifer - and every one else - to react.

"Good Evening Jenna, looking lovely as always...." He says after a pause, adjusting to the appearance of another beast and the voice that slithered into his ear. He used the name he was given when Kine were present moving his eyes to the workmen moving around to indicate why. Then the Roman looked with no small amount of awe at the statues that were, quite frankly, perfect. "You've outdone yourself...I don't know how I can repay you, but please let me know if something comes to mind." His voice was slightly hushed with a certain reverence looking up at the seven foot tall statue as Marcus was carried back to older times in his mind.
