Rebecca’s haven was in the Carmichael district. It was a studio with a loft bedroom in a trendy part of town. A clever use of the space, small as it was, it was still chic and was a great example of industrial design aesthetic.
Rebecca herself was dressed in a cream cashmere cable knit sweater dress with a turtleneck collar. She wore thigh high suede boots in a matching cream colour. Her hair blew out straight, making her hair perfectly straight and lustrous in the dim lighting. For jewelry she wore round cut diamond stud earrings.
She invited Alicia in. Once the door was shut she nodded to her and stated, “Welcome to my Haven, Cousin.” She paused watching her. “Make yourself comfortable, please,” she gestured to the leather couches.
“It appears we no longer have a Priscus.” She said softly, watching Alicia. “Worse than that, I had no idea she was leaving or gone until she didn’t show up for formal court.” She paused and licked her lips and folded her lips tightly for a moment before cocking her head to her side. “Did she reach out to you about leaving?” She asked her earnestly.
