The Lost finish breaking camp, Kray stifles a yawn - he'd slept just fine, but there was just...something that was dragging him down. A weight hanging around his neck, maybe it was the knowledge of where they were, and just how few of them were here. He thinks he'll be fine, a quick run through of his muscle groups and the knowledge of his own self, provide this knowledge, but. This deep in the Hedge, nothing was certain.
Waking in the Hedge each of the Lost are quick to reorient themselves. Kray, with his skill in clauses is quick to utilize them. From Pathfinding he knows,
...Nevernip can be found...
...there is an abandoned Archive...
...something stalks...
Around the Lost the Hedge seems strangely calm. There is a brisk breeze drifting through, Vincent can catch the scent of campfire smoke, different from the one they'd had in the dark of the night, there's a sweet-sour charred undercurrent being carried along with it. Like someone's sauce had spilled into the flame and everything is smelling like it.
Circe in contrast, as she takes down her primitive, but working alarm system around the camp, takes in the shadows with a well trained eye. Nothing seems to be out of order. The rising sun is casting shadows amongst the foliage, and those shadows seems to align with what she expects...but she still feels off.
Things seem alright, nothing horrible had happened in the night, they new where they are and, still had an idea of where they were going. To the Lost, this deep in the hedge, that was a win.
Alrighty, nothing bad is happening to Kray (yet!) But the next time I call for a stamina roll, he'll be at a -1! With Vincent and Circe passing, the next time I ask for a stamina check they can still roll flat.
I Don't want to rush so I haven't narrated you guys moving off from camp yet, you can share what you've learned/sensed/saw and we can use your wits+survival checks from the first posts as the ones used to go forward when you're ready to head out. Just make it clear when you want to move on from camp, and which direction you're headed
