Narration:
Beneath Funderland is a series of tunnels. In fact, it is below a good chunk of Sacramento. Rum Running Tunnels, some sections even used to have tours. Mostly dull grey stone, sometimes brown, often covered in dust and dryness, with its own ecosystem of fungi flora and verminous fauna. The Lost discovered they had access to these tunnels through the theme park.

Being a paranoid lot, the Lost have sought to secure the tunnels as a fall back point and/or to ensure it isn't used to ambush them. Armored doors with multiple locks, metal mesh fences, and walls have secured access, but that isn't the only work they've done. Infrastructure has been put in like bridges, stairs, rail cars, storage areas, and even a locked wine cellar. Well, the last was cleaned and re-covered rather than installed.

And have they been ambushed in justification of their paranoia? Yes, but only by lizard, vermin, or leech. And yet treasures have been found too.

And thus we find a collection of the Lost gathering supplies in this gallery. And for some reason, there are some tables setup too with what could be called a sort of victuals?

Circe:

Circe had said she'd provide snacks for the event. And she'd meant it, even if it might be a bad idea before digging. The folding table was lit by a couple of electric lamps, showing a meager spread. Fritos, dried figs, beef jerky, fish jerky, sodas, and some Gatorade lite flavored waters. Circe wasn't bringing down hot food that'd attract every rat and roach in the place. She'd brought stuff that could be put in a metal container. The primary reason to be here was for digging and building anyway.

Circe was dressed down for digging in. Denim trousers and longsleeved tunic with a pair of steel-toed work boots. The hard hat, safety goggles, and dust mask would have made her look not out of place at any construction site. The hip holster with a clearly suppresor attached to it gun inside would not fit to any such site in America. Circe had brought along an entrenching tool, since she'd no idea what other tools were down here, and quartet of heavy base brackets to hold the wooden posts in place as they are put up. Seemed a sensible choice. Turns out they'd left a lot of crap down here.

She may be over prepared.
